I agree. Test Dewalt, Milwaukee and Flex together. I suspect it will be Dewalt, but it could be a coin toss between Dewalt and Milwaukee and Flex will be dead last. Maybe as bad as the Hilti

Yes but realize density of wood is totally different in different spots some that stalled would have powerd through in less dense spots i agree the dewalt is stronger and faster than the m18 fuel its that the video showed the m18 with a 2ah non ho battery I believe with the 6 ho battery the results will not be the same I believe the dewalt will beat the flex but only testing on wood with the same density throught the board 6×6 8×8 and so forth i just wanna see how these fake tampered flex video actually makes that power we all seen how they fixed it so flex won every single time I also wanna see the m18 fuel 2357 tested against the best flex impact driver may the best tool win

Bro, for a tool review channel.. you should know how to lock a ratcheting keyless chuck. The reason your spade bit fell out on your Dewalt Power Detect is because after you tighten the chuck as much as you can by turning it clockwise until you cannot tighten it anymore- you have to turn the chuck counter-clockwise 🔄 for a tiny bit until it “clicks”, that’s how it locks. If you do this, you will find that you won’t be rounding bits in your chuck anymore. They also won’t fall out of your chuck as well. Just a friendly tip, from someone who also didn’t know to lock a keyless chuck and thought that they were trash until I learned how to lock them properly.

Any idea what their return process is? I have a cordless m12 rotary tool that is less than a year old. So loud, either a bearing is shot or coming from the motor. Very disappointed, as I came from Dewalt and always heard how great Milwaukee was, and this is a tool that was fairly unique that no one else makes (I do also have the m12 impact and the hammer drill but don’t use those much as I’d much rather use my dewalt stuff due to the increased power (which it should be since they are 18/20v tools, so that’s not comparing apples to oranges).

I think you have to test both against the flex. That Dewalt is rapid until the bits get to a certain size, but, the milwaukee will put any wood bit you put in it through in high speed. You should see it go on the 2 1/2" self feed on pro tool reviews, its a monster. It may not be the fastest but its definitely the most powerful.

DeWukee for the wins 🤓👍. I cannot wait for the Power Detect and Flexvolt advantage video 😁. When I was between the two, I liked the idea of just having standard XR batteries (8ah) instead of having to invest in the flexvolt advantage ones.

The 998 won here, on most tests. Milwaukee fans are just ..... very passionate.... about their tool choice.
And you can tell despite DeWalts claims there is a performance hit going from the 8ah to 6ah. Battery. Here it just managed to beat Milwaukee. On last test with both 8ah batteries, it DESTROYED Milwaukee.

I will bet $1000 my 5 year old Bosch Professional HD-18-2 2 Speed CORDED Brushed Hammer Drill with only a max 3,200Rpm and only 51,000Bpm can beat that Flex Hammer Drill that new bully kid in town whole day and any day so effortless, as a matter of fact I filmed it and posted the video for it. The flex hammer drill smoked❗ I drill the largest spade/paddle bit that I can find, and the largest Irwin Speedbor max that I have in my possession, I also tried the largest self feeding wood bore bit and the largest concrete/masonry drill bit that I have the best that I was using for years and years I used the Bosch blue granite turbo. And the flex smoked, the flex hammer drill didn't got a chance to finish the self feeding bore bit and never had a chance to do the masonry test it smoked. And that was my results! My own test. I purchased the tool the new kid in town called the flex hammer drill with my own money and no endorsements or supports from the tool company. Bought it with my own money and the tool smoked and got wrecked. Now I didn't know if MCT will have the same result. But I want to find out.

Dewalt nut here , needing your advice on a new hammerdrill, I can get a 996 new for 104.00 ..... I can get the 998 and 999 for about 130 ish new .... in my opinion the 999 not taking advantage of the full 60 volts is just a false name on the drill, the 998 has power detect but I dont plan on buying high output batteries , I would like to use the 5 amp hour batteries I have , also with power detect that is just something else that will mess up in future , the 996 seems to be just as strong , maybe the 998 stronger with a nice battery but is it worth the price difference ?
