Hi Nigel , hope you are okay, I have this subscription but I’m going to wait until the whole collection is complete before I build, I know there were terrible problems with the spitfire build from part works , hopefully they have this one sorted , although I am concerned about a couple of things , one , the angle of the wings , are they definitely going to correct this because on all the drawings for this Lancaster the wings are flat , also I’m not sure the engines are to scale , they seem small to me but as you have built many 1/32 models , you may be able to answer this , glad to see you back
Hi Nigel, i know life is not fun at the moment, but im sure you are getting nothing but positive vibes from viewer's.
Hope you're doing OK, Nigel. Stay safe.
Hi Nigel. Nice to see you back on videos. Lancaster stuff is a must. Of course. jeje .. Have a nice day. Greetings from Thomas in Mexiko.
Hi Nige. I'm only building this vicariously through you, but I'm getting quite involved in watching you.
I just hope Hachette doesn't let everyone down by not correcting those wings.
Nige, great to see you back! 🤗
Don’t know how someone without your skills and experience would tackle those fiddly parts.
So basically, you’re building half an engine per pack? Am I seeing that right?
Been looking forward to this ...not a parts work I can afford to do or display but loving this whole build and parts revisited build series
You’ve been on my mind Nigel. Be well and take care. It’s good to see new videos from you. Tim
Good on you Nigel and as someone said great to see you back filming.
Regards.
Keep on truckin , chin up and count stars and not cracks in the pavement
A night in the forest of Dean lay by ..take care
Keep on keeping on mate, you're singlehandedly responsible for me getting my backside into gear and restarting modelling, currently got a P51D/BF109G/P38F trriple box set on the bench in various states of completion.
Great to hear!
Hi Nigel, I also found the engine to be very small, looks like 1/48 (it won't be visible anyway, only the exhaust), the cowling is probably too thick to accommodate an engine at scale. Nice to have you back👋🏻
It is very small. I compare with Border in one of the videos.
I hope you are well Nigel . M
Hi Nigel..... Glad to see you back filming...... I am watching someone else build this model and they are saying it is looks too small for the scale... As you are the Lancaster go to man I and wondering what your impression is
The engine is much smaller than the Tamiya and Border merlins at the same scale yes. In one of the next three I compare it to the Border engine.
Much smaller than the original partworks 1/32 Lancaster from Hatchette, engines that is
@@NigelsModellingBench Tamiya? I guess you referred to HKM?
Glad to see you, Nigel.👍
Tamiya Spitfire and Mossie.
Glad to have you back mate, hope you're keeping well, stay safe n keep modelling mate, it's good for the soul. See ya on the next one🍻
