@@alexandermarkus9587how come these news arent so famous? Or proven or whatever, it is were true and made known to the public everyone would believe and turn to the truth ?
Thosands of spectators (many of whom came only to have a laugh) saw and experienced the miracle in Fatima. They were amazed, many believed, skeptical journalists returned and wrote articles about amazing things that have happened. The world heard and remained deaf. There are many recorded miracles across the history of Christianity be it in antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the early modern period, or even today. Yet, again and again it's proven what the scripture says, that Lord God makes himself known but only those who seek him with open heart will find him. I mean, look at Jesus himself he cured the lepers, healed the blind, multiplied bread... quoted scriptures like no one else, and yet they killed him, they who saw his miracles with their own eyes.
Given the state of the church, it is much better in the East than in the West, I am not surprised that the Mother of God and our Savior Christ her child would shed tears. What I love about these miracles is that in both the East and the West they are above the squabbles that divide us and that is holy in and of itself.
Exactly! We need to start treating God as God instead of treating our feelings and opinions as God. Because we grieve the heart of God when we make our petty differences more important than our love for God and one another. If we have disagreements, we're commanded to resolve them in a gentle Christian manner, not hate our brothers and sisters and stir up more division. Unfortunately not many are listening, no matter who says this and most of the church is too busy looking around at everyone they don't like instead of looking at God and seeking to grow in holiness and spread the Gospel above all else.
@@claesvanoldenphatt9972 I did not mean physically. I meant spiritually and theologically. I have yet to hear of any of the Eastern churches upholding the immorality that the CoE has accepted, or the Catholic church is Jesuiticaly attempting to explain away while pretending not to change doctrine. I am quite aware of what is going on in the world. The Orthodox, and Eastern churches have a long history of suffering, due to Communism, and Islam, let's be clear about that. Nothing shakes me more than the stories of the Armenian genocide and the refusal of the West to do anything about it. The sufferings of the Copts under Egypts more enlightened regime's are a testament to their faith. The destruction of this Iraqi Christians after the US invasion because of the nonexistent weapons of mass destruction is another sad example of how the west views Christians as expendable. these kinds of miracles tend to get laughed off and dismissed by nonbelievers and the like, but honestly these are the types of miracles that I can't imagine just dismissing. What, is it so hard to believe that liquid condensed on an icon? if you want to believe that it was just a coincidence then I won't be able to stop you, as liquid appears on stuff all the time, it's not that strange. What's beautiful about it is not simply the fact that a substance manifested upon a surface. I think it's safe to say there are a lot of things grieving the heart of God, even within the Church. We really need to take stock of ourselves, our hearts and our attitudes, and treat God as real and always present because He is.
