    Glad I just removed R1 rotors from my cart. I am thinking of EBC USR rotors with yellow stuff. Heard from people complaining about the UK quality and someone saying no one in UK uses EBC ... Really want to try Akebono stuff but can't find any of them that fit a Giulia in US

    The coating is e-coating, electrically bonded coating. This is what the top industry manufacture use, as it is non metallic. Zinc is old school, it is metallic and will rust eventually.

    R1 concepts are made in Ch**na and not performance at all. Thank you for sharing your info, much appreciated.

      It's from C**na but California this time lol. Some emerging brake companies in China are doing quite well in recent years but I don't think they sell in US. Most made in China brakes you can get now are still from the low-end factories

      @getajob2667 the company is based in Cali but the are not manufactured there.

    Porterfield Pads were not the issue, R1 rotor was. A great pad with a inferior rotor is going to give you what you experienced. Let's see how these are in a year or so. ;)

    Just get endless or stoptech pads and a more performance oriented brembo rotor.. your in Europe now...😉👌 The reason you get rust on your hubs is probably because you use an agressive wheel cleaner.. I spray new 1 piece rotors with hammerite just to protect them better for cleaning products that keeps them nice and clean. Or if there is an option to get a two piece rotor for this car thats the best choice.
    Thanks for the content, I am a big fan of te Giulia eventho I run a 3 series myself.

      Yeh looked at the racing brake kit and ceika kit but expensive and wouldn’t be utilized
      Maybe I’ll buy ceika in a few years instead of renewing these

      Yellow stuff definitely bite harder but I will warn you now they create a absorbent amount of dust like literally every day you will be cleaning your wheels but they definitely are the best brake pads I've ever used

    • @club.alfagt
      @club.alfagt  Рік тому +1

      2023 is great, warranty, updated, less issues. But you’ve got to by a extra thingy if you want to tune it called a SGW bypass
      Other than that do it. As long as you can get the wheels I have
