I've read a few haters' comments that claim GFT aren't really captains and don't really know how to fish or run charters. My take is they're probably guys that the girls wouldn't go out with in high school or college! 😂

Besides they are sweet and very knowledgeable. But there is always those that are haters mainly because they couldnt do if they had to. You ladies are still the best.

We have a lot of Scamps off Savannah. Charter Captain says she likes the gags better. Scamps have higher oil content and do not last as long as gags in the freezer. We have snowy too, not many reds and I do not know if there are any black grouper out there.
Called sliding kabura lures. Lots of videos from NZ and AU as well as Japan about them. Fun lure, they are great in deep water and when you are tired and don't want to do a lot of jigging, you can still catch fish.
Have you guys been interacting with all your YT fans that are out on the boat with you? Thought for sure we'd get to see some of "us" on this adventure. Congrats on the grouper!
I loved the section about Scamp vs Yellow Mouth grouper. In the video the color yellow, seemed to "pop' out more on the Yellow Mouth (YM) grouper. Aside from the tail, could you guys tell any difference in the color. I've caught plenty of Scamps but not sure if I've caught a YM. I'm not a big fan, for me personally, of deep dropping either with electric reels or free hand. When I lived in SF, the bottom fishing was very deep, using 1 to 3 lbs of balls of lead weights at the bottom of multiple baited hooks, so that you were cranking up 1 to 5 Rock Cod at a time. Always felt like going to the gym and curls with 20-20 lbs of free weights. Not my idea of fun. But the whole experience of being out on the water plus catching new species on one's bucket list is always awesome.
That boat is a perfect viral incubator especially in the sleeping and dining quarters. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a nice little outbreak after every trip.
Have you guys ever looked into fishing shirts with armpit pads. I fish with buddies who have kids and they also have difficulty with beating up their armpits on big fish. Thanks for the great videos.
There is a trick to keeping people from steeling your registration sticker. After installed, use a sharp knife or razor blade to cut dozens of lines into it. That way if they try and steel it, only useless tiny little pieces come off. When thieves see this they don't even bother to try and steel it. There is point.
For us guys up north and brother in Jacksonville what rods are you using besides Rainbow, have to buy whats available up here in Michigan, again May God Bless you two and fair seas ( US Navy vet)

Just wanted to let u no from South Jersey to Montauk I limit out 90 percent of the times my friends get mad at me the ask me how I do it people sometimes cuss me on charter boats I tell them I'm Zoro on the water when I show and tell them how they step thier game up 20 to 50 percent

You need to stop pumping every fish; especially without beefier hooks those Puny trap hooks still pop off, or start fishing circle hooks, and you have the rod under the wrong arm when your winding it’s so unorthodox.

I've never seen or heard of a circle jig. It's amazing what you can get a fish to hit! I love these Pulley Ridge fishing trips.
