This is technology Group B could of only dreamed up. We're living in the new golden age of rally folks 🍻
Nah not even close. Group B was absolute madness even this cars are go faster but they have enough downforce too keep them stay on the road in balance. Transmission on this era is makes easy too and there was a massive turbo lag back than like nothing.. nothing.. and boom boost comes from hell which makes the car even more hard to control. Im not even talking about tire techs and crowds stays on middle of the road. Lots of manufacturers with different type of cars etc. the list is keep growing.

The Finnish tracks are some of the scariest ones to play in Richard Burns Rally. Every one of them is just so fast and the trees are so close to the track. I can't imagine doing it in real life.

I heard that the new cars are pushing 500hp now.
Wjen they use thwy hybrid yes but the engine is still the same 380 hp as with the 2017 requlations
Its over 400 hp (according to Hyndais ex-team principal) + 134 hp for the electric motor.

Back in the day they had a camera mounted on the dash facing the driver as the video clip played the commentary was “how do you become a world champion in wrc?…you don’t blink” the driver literally did not blink the whole clip not even once it was insane…

You mean the chirping sound that can be heard from the outside when they get off the throttle? It is still there, but you won't hear it much on a rally that's mostly about driving flat, as in this video; you have to look for videos of more twisty rallies, like this one: ua-cam.com/video/EFJClQHIFQ4/v-deo.html. I don't know if it's that that sound is not as loud as it used to be, or if the exhausts today are much louder than what they were back then, hiding the chirping sound - as a comparison with quieter cars, the Skoda Fabia Rally2 at 1:20 has a very noticeable turbo sound, but those cars' exhausts are far quieter than Rally1 cars. There's other "whistling sounds," and the one which people refers the most comes from the transmission, not the turbo. There's another one, which I've read is electronics' interference.
