Need some explanations man, how long is each race and what are the judges looking for? I've never ran trails before and I have akc registered dogs. Talk 2me about it please sir, thnks in advance. Did u have any of your dogs in this trail?
I did not have any of my dogs in this trial. I plan to take some beagles in the future. Basics: The judges are looking for the beagle that can run the rabbit the best/smoothest with very few breakdowns. They run each pack as long as they desire until they identify the best dog or dogs in that pack. The same judges review all the dogs. The plan is to find the best dogs and put them in the final pack to determine which one is the best beagle. There is more to it than what I explained, but this is the simplest answer.
