Love the idea of making pots to be smashed! I make udu clay drums for musicians, but do not know how to play them myself. I am, however, fascinated by the beautiful sound that freshly made clay pots make. So I'm going to make one for a musician friend to use as a drum while still wet (leather hard at the most) and she is going to play on it to see what kind of beating it would take.
