I have not seen a bollywood movie more than once except Pink.
Every actor was on point.But,Tapsee and Amit sir just killed their parts.
i really appreciate it when women support women. it may seem otherwise a lot of times, but I've never seen a woman deny support to another woman in such a circumstance. this is what has been depicted here as well. falak and andrea taking care, supporting and protecting meenal everytime she needed it. a true friendship like their is a very strengthening pillar.

Deepak sehgal did not have a child. When her wife says 'i wish you also had a nominee, think again, I am still ready', it shows sehgal has a backstory that's similar to the topic of the whole film, consent!
Deepak is suffering from depression, that's why he was not practicing. He has fought cases about environment issues and sensitive topics that no one talks about. He is a person who's conscious about his surroundings. That's why he was the only one to observe changes and realise something was wrong with the girls. When he got to know the real trouble of the girls he found it relatable maybe, he must have thought of these girls as his own daughters since he did not have a child. He has this inner soldier who is stands for the right reasons.
So definitely presence of his wife shows his backstory. He has no child, his wife is really sick and he's afraid of being alone in old age. That's why he's in depression.
