I am an artist who has barely done any since burning out in college. I have done yarn craft as my expressive medium but really want to get back into watercolor and try out pencil. I decided for the new year I would commit to one ATC size sketch per day, most likely over my lunch break, to get back into the practice of just playing with and practicing my art. I’ve never heard of that brand of paper, I ordered my first Etcher as the chosen paper for the year but may get one of those to try out for larger “sketch” works. Looking forward to having a year worth of mini ATC sketches in two A5 books.
Hi! I have a question,I was wanting to get a seawhite a3 sketchbook,I work in colored pencils,is it good for that medium? Also is the paper thick?I like working on thicker paper somewhat like cardstock.
A3 is a great size I have a few! They have different ones with different paper but even the standard ones have quite thick paper and it's extra wet strength so it's a bit thicker to be able to deal with watercolour paints etc, I'd say not quite as thick as card but very close!
@@BethFrostArt OH!! Now I see! We call them "ballpoint" pens in the US, but Biro is the name of the person who originally invented them. Colloquial language is always such a marvel! 💖

Amazing! I hope you enjoy! How are you getting on with it? 🎉😊

@@BethFrostArt thank you! I had wondered about making a video like this recently - I’m starting to run out of space on the shelves for my books 👀

What is "bi-row" 1:25? Please pardon my confusion!
Thanks for watching! Biro pen, sorry I should've explained more!
@@BethFrostArt No worries and thank you for clarifying! I'm not familiar with it but I look forward to researching to learn more.

Unfortunately the music makes it nearly impossible to hear what you are saying.
Sorry about that still getting used to editing! It has subtitles if that's easier for you :)
