Unfortunately, I do not know of a way to create a shortcut to launch an iPad app like you can on Windows and other devices. You might try looking under Settings > Accessibility > Voiceover >Commands > Keyboard Shortcuts or Settings > Accessibility > Voiceover > Activities, but I think those are mostly for adjusting navigation keystrokes and app-specific settings. If you need to launch an app quickly without scrolling through the entire screen, you can open Spotlight Search by pressing command-space, start typing the name of the app, and press enter or VO-space to open it.
Hello Caitlyn, Thank you so much for your video tutorials! I'm finding them very helpful. I have a cousin in India who is blind and I'm trying to see what can I get her so that she can start using the social media and computer in a much more effective way! Currently she is using an android phone without any voice over I assume because she strains to see what is displayed on the phone. I would like to buy an iPad with a braille keyboard to start with. Can you please guide me on what iPad and braille keyboard I should buy? Thank you!
Thanks! This is helpful to take in as a sighted person learning VoiceOver for iOS to test things for accessibility.
Love seeing young blind women talking tech! You go girl!
I love how you stress that it is not a laptop replacement. Great job!
Thank you so much this video helped me so much :)
This was so helpful! Thanks!
Good one
