I have often wondered if Portugal has any "reenactment villages" where the houses are restored to their original condition, and trained reenactors demonstrate how life was lived before the industrial revolution. This hamlet would be perfect for creating such a park... if one had deep enough pockets to create and support it. Classes in traditional skills and crafts could be offered, with housing offered in the restored cottages. A village oven and a restaurant/cafe offering traditional foods grown organically on the land would be a feature that could attract guests on it's own merit too.
What a story book property! A lot of hard graft ahead to make it into someone's dream but, man! What a beautiful dream this property could be. Great presentation Nick and Fernando! I know an outstanding, expert stonemason and his crew in Portugal, who could do the restoration.

What a dream, opportunity this is just like you Nick that was always a dream of mine but the son has no intentions of being a dad in this world so it looks like I’d only need a 2 housed hamlet I suppose I could always rent the other 5 home out as an income now I just need the money to buy and rebuild the hamlet erm I need @ bank with good getaway routes around it 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Fantastic opportunity to create a eco holiday village with shared leisure facilities, maybe a shared pool. Making the houses 2 storey you could make upside down houses so the outside stairs lead into the living area and the bedrooms stay cool. Maybe use the storage area for a little en site cafe or fitness studio. It would be a lovely location for yoga retreats or boot camp weeks with cycling, swimming in the lake and yoga. If i was younger i would be very tempted.
The drone footage at the end, together with the music often let me float away. You might right now not be in the best circumstances financially, I do however feel the beauty and preciousness of life in what you record, and present to us. Thank you!
