The Celtics defence is literally designed around not fouling. It's not a coincidence. It's a strategy that was employed by Mezzula. There were equally bad calls against the Cs, just not as many.......because they literally defend with the intent of not fouling.
The NBA gets me sick! Jalen Brown spends the whole game fouling everyone and pulling on the jersey of the Indiana Pacer players and the referees don't call a single thing. Jason Tatum spends the whole game pushing people and doesn't get called for anything either. If you are good, there is no need to play dirty. It is quite obvious that when Indiana in-bounded the ball with just seconds left to Pascal Siakam, Jalen Brown pulled on his jersey once again and fouled him, yet no foul was called and the ball was given back to the Celtics. It is understood that when the referees decide to let the "players play" , no fouls are called but when stupid fouls are called, then you know there is favoritism and why these games are a waste of time to watch.
