Kobbie Mainoo first played at Gatley football club and Cole Palmer went to Gatley Primary school, so we are celebrating last night as a local victory here :)
Southgate doesn't look like a Manager with the ability to consistently show tactically right decisions. I however admit that he got his changes correct.
I still stand by my opinion that if England wins the Euros, it will be more due to the players efforts than Southgate. Kudos to the Manager though.🙂

Assembling a playing 11 is such a big task this transfet window but to be competitive the squad should have at least 20 players. Branthwaite is too overhyped to be spending £60m. There is a need for 2 RCB, 1 RB, 1 hybrid LCB/LB, 2 DM, 2 wingers capable of playing on both wings, 1 CF. That is 9 players almost first team ready. Can't expect Garnacho n Mainoo to play 50+ matches. It is a long way to go considering City n Arsenal are shoein for CL places. Rest of the spots are between Chelsea, Villa, Spurs, Newcastle, Liverpool and United. Chelsea and Liverpool are not guaranteed because of Managerial change but all others have better squads except Newcastle and ManU
I’d hate for that penalty to be called against my own team, but it’s been called as a penalty pretty consistently since it was called against Messi in World Cup ‘22. The dangerous action (studs up) is what makes it one. 🤷🏻♂️

Rice and Bellingham were both available last season. Had INEOS got into United a year earlier I imagine there would be a good chance we would have had both of them playing for us with Mainoo next season.

Yes it was a penalty Sam, it was an open boot from Dumfries, and it was not a rush decision from the ref, he went to the watch the video and made the decision. There was nothing controversial about it, it was as clear as day.

If we are losing money then things that do not contribute to the success of the club need to go. The women's team is a financial black hole that never has and never will generate any revenue for the club. It's a luxury we can't afford.
The women's team generated £7m in revenues last year (only Barca were higher), and it's growing at about 50% a year.
