I am not a computer science major but I am learning swift as I am very interested in app development for iOS and in working for apple someday :) Thanks for the insightful video on the whole process.
This is one of the videos that helped me get the job at apple! I start this Saturday😁. I just hope my school/work/life balance isn’t too messed up tho. Thank you!
Amazing and informative video! Short and too the point, really puts things into perspective! I’ve always wanted to work at Apple, it’s always been my dream of mine! In late December of 2019 I’ve met this nice couple that goes to my church and the husband works at Apple. I wanted to to ask the gentleman if there’s any advice for applying , but I was too shy. And as 2020 was approaching the world shut down and I lost contact with them, not only that but managing and trying to stay safe. Then around January 2022, the company that i worked for ; Walgreens, fired my coworkers and I basically to get rid of us. I’ve been struggling looking for other jobs and trying to start fresh every since. I then started going back to my church, and started talking with the couple every Sunday . Fast forward to last week, I’ve finally built up the courage to ask the gentleman for any tips on applying to Apple. The gentleman was so nice and took it a step further and said, “oh here, here’s my number, personal email and work email, send me your resume”. I couldn’t believe it, I was so excited and happy, all it took was for me to finally ask. And I feel so happy, through every struggle, feeling of depressed, and bad mental health: that God brought me to this point into my life, where my dream is about to become a reality!!!
@@Hitman-hn6sh the seasonals actually has to interview for part time positions when they opened. So it was literally like a competition to see who got to stay. this is so great! ive applied for apple late january and went to the store to talk about it. they said to wait for a hiring period and id receive an email from them. did this happen to you?
sushi mail yes!! Although I’m not sure if they asked me to wait for a hiring period. That could also mean they’re waiting till more people apply since they train in groups. Good luck!
@@simply_joyful thank you! i thought that they probably had an abundance of workers from the holiday season. I'm hoping to hear a reply from them though since its been a dream of mine to work there! thank you again for this very informative video :D
Awesome video, I am also going into computer science as well in the near future, I’m also waiting for a response from Apple retail specialist position. How did you like CS while being in school? Did you have a part time job during the whole 4 years of schooling or main focus on learning CS?
Such an informative video, thank you! I have my initial interview tomorrow. I too am a full time college student but I only attend class twice a week. Are they flexible with scheduling enough to where I would be able to get the two same week days off each week?
@@simply_joyful is willing to work other days can you elaborate on that? let's just say I only work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday full shifts and am off Monday thru Thursday due to school do think they will give me that schedule.

I really thank you for this video.. I wanted to inquire about something, I submitted my resume to work with Apple, but I don't live in America and I don't speak English very well, so I wanted to know if the interview will be in the language I speak or it will be only in English, I'm really nervous
I think it will depend which Apple store you work at to be completely honest! Just be straight forward with your needs from the beginning and see what they say!
@@rza9529 honestly i dont remember all of them but the one i remember is "why work at apple" make sure to be yourself there is no right or wrong answer. And make sure if you had jobs previously, bring up the good times you went above and beyond what was expected
