I think he means so that the exhaust comes out of the tail pipes at the same time, he does the cross to make the lengths of the pipes equal, not sure though.
@@Midnight-yh6cb That makes way more sense than backpressure... if you want to see the same amount of smoke come out of the tailpipes when you're rev-bombing in a parking lot. I'd still like to see an x pipe to equalize backpressure. Use the exhaust pulses to scavenge the opposite bank. I personally run single exhaust on my full size pickup. @@markg7030 yeah, sometimes the narrator talks out of his ass. @Midnight has a point about crossing the pipes up front. It makes true duals technically about the same length instead of adding about 6 feet to the driver's side. Since both of the pipes have to go on the passenger's side to avoid the transfer case and fuel tank on the driver's side. It equalizes the length of the pipes, but not the backpressure. Unless he thinks an extra few feet of 2.5" open pipe is a restriction on 1/2 of a 350 (it's not).
What kind of Nancy would load it on a trailer? Do people really do that? I've been driving my truck all around with open headers for the past month or so just for shits and giggles really.
Shoulda ran 2.5" to the start of the bed, then switch to 3" the rest of the way and bend to 90s behind tires no tips either. It will sound like no other, trust me try it.
I have true Dual set up: Patriot Long Tubes to aftermarket cats to super 44s dumped 3in before rear axle and tucked all between body and frame. I don't need a cross over and the power is there throughout the rpm band with 2.25in coming from the 2in collector off the long tubes and mufflers are spaced 14ft from collector for best exhaust scavenging. It sounds good, but pretty sure customer is going for loud and raspy. Why did you guys weld the long tubes to the pipe. I can can take off my whole exhaust with ease as its just one long piece and can run just Long Tubes if I chose to. You guys could of probably done side exit exhausts on both sides before rear tires which is a setup I was actually trying to go for, but ended up just getting the dumps. Sounds good for rolling tall and loud, functionality have to question. And 10in tips are for Diesels for pete sakes.

sounds interesting thought those tips would be on a diesel
Crossover pipes are X or H pipes around where the transmissions sit center just a FYI

That is a sick ass country truck right there! SWEET!
man that grill has my attention. That is sweet. Custom I imagine.
If he fixes that grill and fixes the paint that could be an awesome truck.
I would keep the beaten up parts. Looks like something a demon would drive.
I like that grill, looks awesome
nah that’s a part if the reason we love the obs
That whole truck looks crazy 🤪
Not a fan of how the collectors are welded straight to the exhaust with no flange but other than that looks good
Cross the pipes to equalize backpressure? Too early in the morning.

Yep I don’t understand wtf people do that shit for
I got 5 inch tips on my chevy Silverado thats plenty big enough . 10 inch tips just look stupid sounds good tho
So do bigger tips actually produce a louder sound?
Yea i would say so its just a little louder

Wondering whats so funny about this truck. Its got a straight axle up front. Nice swap.

How long is the 10 inch tips and inlet size
have you ever done a exhaust on a 6.0 powerstroke?
I'm putting long tube headers high flow cats x pipe and a super 10 on it with 3 inch piping
Do you guys think it'll sound good? It's a 97 with the 5.7 vortec
I think it'll be better without the Super 10.
Nahhhh bro. Vortecs are quiet even with straight pipes.
how did you guys plug in 4 o2 sensors, when theres only 3 on the wiring harness? 2 each header/ ex manifold and 1 after the y pipe
They probably split the wires and wired in another plug to make it get two results.
@@cavalierliberty6838 😂 it doesn't work like that ... i tried
How did yall marry up the 2.5" pipe to the inlet of the 10" tips? I'm thinking the tips inlet was atleats 5" no?
