this is why you undercoat your vehicle with woolwax black or similar....2019 jeep, still brand new underneath because i spent hours undercoating it when it was new.
At least it's just the exhaust system, a pretty easy fix. I'm sure one side of mine is like that, I've already fixed the other. But then again, I've got 185K on mine. Needs a little TLC but still runs great.
The front of the car looks fine, though those shocks do look blown out. But the rear? The good Colonel has definitely been using his eleven herbs and spices back there....
As a mechanic myself, I'm always baffled at the condition of vehicles that I see in the shop. It's scary to think that we're on the road next to vehicles held together by shoe laces and gum.
I mean it's a Jeep....it's gonna rust. It's what they do..... however it's got way more rust then my 07, so you say that's not so bad? Wow. It's also got more rust then my 99 Pathfinder that sat on an estate for a decade doing nothing. So my question at this point is I guess does it get a different scale because it's a Jeep, and if not....when does it become a worry that there's rust?
@@preston963 Bullshit. I've got 185K on my Rubicon. They've been making them since the 1940's... Stellantis owns them, they don't make them. Gee, what great Aussie 4x4 is world renowned.... I'll wait.
@@ffjsb I fix them & I know where the parts come from & it's not the U.S. Rubicon's are made with Fiat parts & I hate euro crap. Depending on year model they have plastic A/C lines that fail regularly & are a total pain it arse to change, Fiat CRAP!
It's not leaking because the joint is welded together with rust hahaha
rust/corrosion is natures weld.
The new blue tooth exhaust studs.
I call them rust tooth exhaust studs.
Flavor sealed exhaust 😅😅😅😅🎉🎉🎉🎉
The exhaust is unencumbered by what has been
An exhaust held together by hopes & dreams. The rest of it is salvageable but, I bet the owner will ignore it.

Hopefully Stellantis is not watching, or they might delete the hardware at the factory.

Those exhaust pipes are tightly held together. GIGGITY!

Magic!!!!
I thought November was nuts in crisis month
Flavor-welded exhaust.
Rust became a gasket for that exhaust
Ever since you 😂
No exhaust leak YET. Any time, now...
do you apply fluid film to your personal cars?

The more you think of it, the more scary it gets.
No one will ever grease those ball joints
A couple cans of fluid film and it's good to go.
Good Morning youngster! or I should say, Good Afternoon!
Thank goodness I don’t live in the northern hemisphere 😂
How do you release this today, the same day as my exhaust came loose but not loose from some god damn cable and broke my rear bumper at the same time?
Looks like you’re hardware has turned into software. Hate when that happens.
Crustware.
