    Wild that slide 2 was about skin tones on the African continent and this was somehow totally lost in the conversation about colorism. Topped and tailed to be incredibly interesting.

      The Latino community is way too diverse and broken up by country of origin.

      Most of India outside the Ganga actually has a similar problem, and within the upcoming decades there will probably be projects to fix this in both regions. India is a little further ahead than African Union on this and currently it looks like in Africa hydropower is a bigger priority than inland waterways (which to be fair is a lower ROI project short-term).

      @@Nollic15 Hey my friend, why be so mean. Staple crop output and the viability of keeping livestock still needed more generations in many places to sufficiently adapt to environmental factors of course some regions in Africa low agricultural output. Why do you have to say crappy culture just because some region of earth is poor.

    About 32 minutes in, the Black preachers are teaching that we are to rely on and turn to God for His help, and not rely on ourselves. However, we are to work and to do our best to take care of our families and neighbors, always with God’s help. We can’t even breathe without Him!

    This class is a mess. Prof. is too often too scared to challenge the nonsense.

    • @richardavery4692
      @richardavery4692 4 дні тому +1

      No. He doesn't strongly challenge what he agrees with. Just because he's willing to honestly present another side doesn't mean he's not a left-wing college professor just like the rest of them. He absolutely is.

      Hmmm. I've watched this channel before, and I've considered his teaching style more of a ringmaster than a teacher. That is, his purpose is to raise and faciliatate discussions that make the students further ponder the experience and arrive at an opinion based on everything they'd heard, rather than end class having been given the "answer".

    • @speaksthis
      @speaksthis 4 дні тому

      @@jonasalden29201 - Class is too large, half are asleep it seems. Seems that half don't care. It is easy credits. He even said, "You don't have to know details for the test." You cannot build strong positions, nor truths, on generalizations. That is why most of his students think men are female, I would guess. University seems like a waste of money anymore. I'd get kicked out of his class, I think.

    SOOOOO many lies by this prof. "Black people are the most conservative in the US". Reality: "Highest rate of out of wedlock births, highest rate of single moms and absent fathers by an order of magnitude, highest crime rate by an order of magnitude, highest abortion rate, and so on..
