Not only live together they sleep in the same room. So yes, they are always discussing song ideas. Pau usually gets an idea, throws down some lyrics, records in on the piano then they disc
Paulina (drums) is the prolific writer in the group. Although each song is a collaboration, she starts the process on most of their songs. She is the engine of the band, there is no mistaking that. Each sister has an important role, which helps prevent division. Ale (bass) is a perfectionist, and has a wicked sense of humor that helps keep both high standards and a grounding. Dany is pure emotion with a desire to be understood and connect every song to each fan, she makes their music relatable. Pau is a nuclear bomb, you drop her on stage, and watch the wonderful and devastating release of creative energy.

At this show, Dany on guitar was 18, Paulina on drums was 16, and Ale on bass was 13. They are all two years older now.
And all have birthdays soon.
Dany's voice has those 'perfect imperfections' - Very well said! Not so much that it ever sounds 'off' but just enough to bring the emotion

They are finally getting some US radio play on the west coast.. Stalker was the 1 the stations have chosen which I think is so funny. Couldn't be much more haunting!

It is a normal thing for her. She is know as "The Shredder" for all the sticks she destroys. She has also been known to accidentally fling them into the audience while playing.

Both Floor and Dany put a lot of emotion into their songs....just saying. That last line at the keyboard to end the song (I am yours and you....are....mine) always gives me chills and I look behind me to see if Dany is behind me with a dull knife 😜😜 Thanks for the reaction. Edit: Pau writes MOST songs but all three have written. Dull knives (DeTour) version shot in The Warning Cave.
I’m sorry but there is just no comparison between flor and Dany. I personally don’t like flor’s voice to me it doesn’t fit well with rock let alone metal or even prog. Now Dany and Pau are voice to be reckoned with just like Asami from Lovebites, Melody from Liliac, Sara from Motion Device
Thanks for the reaction! All three are incredibly multitalented. All three write songs, sing, play piano, and are gifted at their primary instruments! The way Dany inhabits the main character in brilliant and haunting! Stay with it. You are still only at the tip of the iceberg in regards to the depth of these sisters!
Great reaction! They are all credited as writers and composers on every song. But they all have songs in which they were the main authors: When I’m Alone is Dany, Dust to Dust is Ale, Black Holes is Pau. Most songs start with Pau coming up with musical phrases and some lyrics. Then Dany and Ale fill in the lead and bass parts. Ale the bassist here was 13 and is now the tallest at 5’7”.
The main vocalist is Danny, but Pau does sing when she wants. FYI Pau is the main lyricist to most songs and she is freaking awesome they all are. Ale will soon be a legend bassist
Dany wrote Crimson Queen music and lyrics, Pau is brilliant and as she has mentioned in many occasions that she starts a song on the piano and lays down th base of the song, then brings it to her sisters so they can all work together to finish the songs.
@@MusicLover-TW From what I read, Pau comes up with the song ideas for a majority of their songs and sometimes she has some lyrics and maybe even a rift. She brings what she has to the Ale and Dany and they work together to finish the song. Dany did write Crimson Queen and also "When I'm Alone". She wrote most of the later when she was away at some music school and was missing her sisters.
That drummer is brilliant, creates all of the images on the screen and controls them during the show, while singing, while playing playing drums while... who knows what else.
Pau is also the ideas girl for the band. She's come up with the song ideas of probably 90% of their songs. She usually has some or most of the lyrics and comes up with a rift or two. I'm pretty sure she came up with the concept for Queen of the Murder Scene.

Stalker is where the Queen actually confronts the object of her love and ends up murdering him. This is the 5th song of 13 on Queen of the Murder Scene that tell the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness.

It's great seeing Dany get the attention she deserves, Pau so often steals the show. They are all so great. Check out their Muse cover and watch how not quite eleven year old Ale kills it on bass.
The concert you just saw was where they played the entire Queen of the Murder Scene CD from start to finish. Quite a remarkable sound for a 3 piece band.
This song is even more creepy within the context of the overall album. Dany is very believable as a performer, Ale is chill as she bangs out that thundering bass line, and Pau is the engine driving the song and band forward.

The ladies will rock the planet sooner or later. They are all so talented and dedicated to their music. Ale - yes, the youngest at age 15 - is my favorite bass player already. She is so on point and her bass lines are carrying the songs so much like it's needed in a three member rock band. Can't wait for the 3rd full album they are producing right now.
So please do more TW. Maybe Ale singing Hunter when TW was the supporting act for Stryper. Normally she doesn't sing lead but she jumps in if Dany has a cold or when they have too many shows in a row. Not on their official channel but still great sound quality. At the time of that concert they had 18, 16 and the bassist is 13 and she is the youngest artist sponsored by Spector.
He seemed excited to see the pedal board Dany was using. I don't know if it is the Helix 6 she has now or not, I'm not a musician at all but I have heard a couple of guitar players comment on the board. She has a gear video that shows the board set up and some of the programming she has loaded into her board. Additionally Pau has a gear video that talks about all of the things that she runs through that laptop you see to her left. She has programmed a lot of things including changes from the laptop to the pedal board, the graphics behind her, their click track and any backing tracks they might be using. Note that normally the music in their backing tracks is music that they have recorded as an enhancement to what they could manage. For example some songs may have a bit of keyboard work in the backing track since they are all playing other instruments at the same time on stage. They sound good even if they have technical problems during a concert and lose the backing track like has happened a few times when her laptop went down. I don't think that has happened in the last couple of years but don't know. I have noticed it being much more securely mounted than just sitting on a stool like it used to.

Believe this is one of the few Warning songs that *DOES NOT HAVE ANY BACKING VOCALS* on it at all. The only part for audience participation (sing along) is the intro & outro parts (Dany's keyboard part).
Otherwise, Dany has to pull this off herself. And she does. Never seen or heard a bad Stalker.

Well, the album is the whole story. Each song tells a little more as you move along. Which is why you should listen to the album front to back and not as individual songs.
The Warning. Three teenage girls from Mexico, sisters. Their 2nd album, Queen of the Murder Scene, is a concept album, which is best listened to in album order because it tells a linear story, and live because of the energy of their performance with an audience. The following links are from their concert at Foro Didi, which I consider their finest performance. Through technical difficulties, they push on giving professionals a lesson to aspire to. One particular technical issue caused a version of the second track I find more immersive than it ever was before for me. A failure with an acoustic guitar grants the song a whole other dimension I feel contains depth already there but certainly stronger.

Pau comes up with many of the band's song ideas and fleshes them out on piano. From there the three sisters work together to complete the songs. However, each of them has written at least one complete song on her own. There are acoustic versions of several of the band's rock songs and they sound great. I think part of the reason for that is because many of the songs were first conceived using a piano.

@@michaausleipzig it's not cuz the media, they wrote the song cuz another Rock bands in Monterrey who dare the girls sayin they can sing in spanish, and according with the girls is actually harder to write songs in spanish, after all the spanish lenguaje is very complex, even if it's your first lenguaje.
And English is an universal lenguaje for Rock and roll in order to reach most of the countries with your music

I will listen to Dany over Floor any day. I have tried to listen to several Nightwish songs and they just don't hold my interest. I much prefer Floor's solo performances, but they still don't make me want to go out of my way to listen to them.

Ale (the bass player) was 13 at the time this video was shot. She's 15 now. What do you think of Dany's voice? It was hard to tell. lol Queen of the murder scene is a concept album. In Stalker, she keeps him forever by killing him. He's dying in her arms in that last bit when she goes back to the piano.0
