If you are joining two pixel strings together you cannot slide the sleeve over the wire as depicted. Can you show your technique for that situation and with the three wires side by side. Thank you.
Robert, my trick is to cut the clear plastic ends off of the heat shrink solder tubes right at the edge of the adhesive (red area). This should give you enough room to place 3 heat shrink solder tubes between 3" pixels. If you are having a hard time time handling 3 at a time, use a "Helping Hand".
These things are amazing. Hope they last a long time. I used about 200 this year

so cut the wire, slide the solder tube on BEFORE joining the 2 wires. Then side it over the connection.
