- I wonder how accurate I was with the prediction of the price of the Lexus? Perhaps it will surprise us and be more like £25,000? What do you think?

If Lexus can price this right, this would be worth paying over a Mini Countryman for instance ❤ great review
It has nothing to do with the Cross. Just part of the platform, and it's already the best in the industry. Toyota itself is like a luxury brand in engineering terms, not to mention quality and engines.
What I love about your channel is the say it as you see it. OK I can completely understand some parts here are maybe toned down a little but the presentation shows the view and this is a hard balancing act. Well done Tish for a great balanced overview of a car well worth consideration. Many thanks for sharing.
Awesome! Thank you!
This week must be a busy week for Lexus. On Monday, they unveiled Lexus’s entry to the B-SUV segment with the LBX, and later this week, they will unveil two more SUVs, the TX and GX.
The Lexus TX and GX are mainly for America. The TX and GX are unlikely to be offered in Europe, but the 2024 Lexus GX can give us an insight of what the next generation Toyota Land Cruiser Prado should look like, as the GX is a premium Prado.
Wow Interesting
Do you think we can have a Lexus hilux, soon? 😆
@@webmarketing40 I doubt we will.
Nice one. Great report! No fluff
Great video Tish. Shoe protectors made me laugh 😂
I like it, I will look into it when it can be configured. Not sure about the colour though.
Thank you so much Hun. We love it I think it's an awesome affordable package.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hello there. Very nice review. Which color bi tone combination do you think is better? Standing in the fence between the sonic white (pearl) with black roof and the one of your review (sonic copper with black roof). Your opinion is highly appreciated. Cheers
We have a Lexus CT200h had love that car but the UX really didn't float our boat as a replacement. The NX is just too big so I will be interested to see how this stacks up in the flesh.
I feel the same, looking at this car is just basically feels like it is a renamed CT200h new model, I think the back is very identical
Great video Tish I love the look and size of it,and the use of recycled materials . At lot more manufacturers are bringing out smaller SUVs . I have just got a toyota yaris hybrid economy is excellent .
Nice! So many people love their Yaris’ for the great economy. So we can’t expect similar. ⬆️
Tish nailed the important points right at the start of the review.
Lovely presentation
I think it's a great move from Lexus.
They are chipping into a very lucrative market.
Great video. Would you prefer this car over the new Chr 2024? They're priced the same? Thanks 🙏
I like the design of the New Model 😊
I love your voice and it's very amusing to listen to you🥰
Thank you so much 😀
With Volvo revealing the fully electric EX30 today starting at £32k, Lexus may have to drop that price a little😅
This is cool it's a nice and very wonderfully built by Takumi craftsmen😊😊😊😊
Looks alright
I salute you, sweet miss from Algeria. I have a question. What is the difference between the Race Cross hybrid or the Lexus hybrid? In terms of durability, reliability, and maintenance expenses in the long term. Thank you
well done good job
Good review, even if I dont see an SUV, but rather a Cross Over, and that I cannot see how 18”wheels are small, on a B segment car….
Just sensational 😊😊😊😊
It's nice I like it
I'm glad you like it
It needed a larger 2.0L or 1.8L and the 1.5L being the entry
Nice shoes !!!
Glad you like them!
Very smart............
Vegan leather is the way to go, I’ve done 100 000kms on my nx, and the seats havnt faded and look brand new. My previous Lexus was a is300 that had leather seats, and they look faded in the area I slide into the seat and looked thrashed after 100 000kms
I think Lexus/Toyota styling department need to re think the designs they are coming up with, looks better than the Yaris Cross, not difficult, but then they paint it in an awful colour that reminds me of a 1970's Austin Princess!
I love your honest reviews, as always.
Doesn't look like a £40k car to me
I don’t think Lexus designers are old enough to remember that colour princes😂, indeed I had that Austin 2200 in that colour.
You’re right, 40k way too high.
Is the designer same as Mazda CX-3?
If buyers can't stretch to this there is always the Yaris Cross which shares the same platform
As always, great review. Personal opinion, definitely not. Believe there are better looking, better engines, in other brands. Will be interesting to see how sales hold-up in UK.
Great point! Thank you for watching. We know the Yaris is a really economical car but I do worry about it not being refined enough even with the changes made.
No back aircon vents? Come on lexus?
Front wheel drive versions will have torsion beam rear suspension - 4 wheel drive versions get rear double wishbones, same rear suspension options as Yaris Cross. With Toyota about to ruin the C-HR by making the 2nd generation version more family friendly & of course that means the next UX will also get the same treatment, this new Lexus LBX could now be the perfect car for a couple or people that just don't want to drive a family friendly oriented vehicle.
Hi Tish
Thank you so much. Have a wonderful day and wonderful weekend too.😊😊😊😊
I prefer my New DS3 E-Tense, 100% electric. The DS3 will also have a similar hybrid engine, same power!
❤❤❤❤❤
It’s a baby Rx 350 if you look at the whole design and grill
Little Battlers eXperience (Danball Senki) 🤝 Breakthrough Crossover (Lexus)
It looks alright 🤷♂️ they know the core demographic of buyer with that old person brown though 😂
Same issues as the YC unfortunately, just in a nicer finish..especially inside. Missed opportunity.
Biggest problem for the car market now is car prices have gone nuts peoples wages have stood still here in the irish market im after a new van at the min im looking at mid 40s for a van pure robbery
Have you looked at Maxus? They have some good vans out. Seem to be getting more popular by the day too which is good.
@@sharonec5419 my problem is it needs to tow 3.5 tonne
@@noelcahill6707 Have you looked at the MAN TGE van?
It's basically a VW crafter with a different badge. No idea of the prices do.
@@noelcahill6707 Iveco Daily is another one.
@@sharonec5419 i have our prices here in ireland are nothing short of stupid over 50k for that van im not broke and iv no problem paying a fair price but i feel the hole lote are just having a laugh at us now there making less yet there profits are gone mad as i say a 2013 hilux here in a toyota main dealer the wanted 26k
The shape of the rear doors look like it could be an issue getting in and out but I guess this car is not designed for a person who is 6ft to use. It looks like the size of a Corsa or Fiesta.. for 40k.. geez
Yer it’s more just about it looking SUV I think. Rather than having the practicality of one. I think I may have over-shot it with the price… hopefully more like 30K
Nice car, nice review, but as a hybrid it's not for me. Why not full electric, Lexus? C'mon...
How much
I do think I may have out-shot with the price 😳 I was being pessimistic…
I love this car...and I love you too !!
My first impression looking at the rear was, whoa, that's Juke!! The design is lovely, really liked the overall proportion and design cues, furthermore, I'm convinced Lexus has done an incredible job with the LBX, I, for one, had never considered a Lexus, but now that has changed. Regarding the interior materials, I agree with you, there's no need for animal materials anymore fortunately, by the way, I can't find out a reasonable reason for keeping real leather, for myself, as a vegan, that's deplorable. Congratulations on the excellent work, apropos, love your channel!
Wha a lovely comment, thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!
It reminds me of the Mazda CX3
I think saying that you prioritised design over function is code for lazy. Look at all the cars over the years that have been compact and designed to be eye catching yet still practical.
The difference between this and German brands is, buying a Lexus you don't need to have your brain removed.
You also won't need to be making regular visits to your dealer to have things put right.
I think Lexus could have been vlvravee with design both at the front and Rear. It's does not have to be in your face just stylish and classy like a Mazda.
As it is I think it's best view is the dash. The rest is just boring. I think it looks very BYD like at the rear and the front.
Where is sunroof
There is nothing in the press release about a sunroof. The Yaris cross does get one as an option so hopefully when full specs are released it will have one.
Thought your co-lab with Nobby went well giving you more room for opinion being free from the shackles of presenting. Seems odd offering leather on a young person car.
Thank you, I had great fun filming with Mark! I did think having leather, vegan and alcantara was a little excessive.
@@AutoSocialUK I'd like to know the connection between eco-friendly and not-having-leather, since cows are NOT RAISED FOR THEIR LEATHER, and so if you don't use leather, it ends up in landfill.
Do I like it?...touch and go!🤔
Why call it entry level? It isn’t the Yaris cross is, this is a luxury car for someone who wants a small luxury suv, people who can likely afford a larger car but choose to take a smaller one.
But it isn't Luxury? It's attracting a new buyer to the market
This is not an entry level car or an entry level segment, because Lexus don´t have that!
Compare this car with an Yaris?! It's bizarre!
It seems all the reviews are copies of stupidity!
Bet it’s not Lexus quality?? So it has the be compared to a new segment for Lexus?
Lexus completely threw their naming scheme out the window. How the hell is this an L car among the likes of LS, LC, LX and LFA? Ugh what are they doing??
Could up move your hands around a bit more?
Sure, I’ve got an LBX for a week soon and I’ll make sure to flap my as around a bit more for you.
Why do you keep comparing it to NX. You should compare it to UX which was the smallest Lexus before LBX came out.
It was more of the case that I had just spend time with the NX, so it was fresh in my own mind
You were in Milan dressed like that? 🤣🤣
CVT cancels ALL Lexuses
Looks amazing shame it’s overpriced and so expensive for an “entry” into the brand
Somehow plain and to expensive.
Lexus lacks quality from Toyota? What are you even talking about. Sorry to state the obvious but Lexus is Toyota.
Lexus is always more premium than Toyota, this has the same finishes of a Toyota.
@@AutoSocialUK which Toyota? Specify models. Toyota Alphard or Toyota Mirai feels way more premium than BMW 1-series.
Same as Merc A class feels like a cheap shit-box compared to AMG S63.
You can't just say "oh, entry level model lack quality" that's just lazy writing.
@@JamesSecretofski Jesus you’re arguing with yourself; it’s you who are assuming it as a negative. It has far better fit and finish as a lot of rivals but it missed the edge of Lexus. It still means it’s head and shoulders above it’s rivals but the price difference can be felt between a NX or RX
Why would people buy a Yaris Cross with nicer interior & exterior, rather than Volvo EX30 built on a bespoke electric platform at GBP34,000 ???
For the Lexus Toyota reliability for one.
It has nothing to do with the Cross. Just part of the platform, and it's already the best in the industry. Toyota itself is like a luxury brand in engineering terms, not to mention quality and engines.
By the way, its main competitor is the Audi Q2.
You are pretty lost, lady.
Nope, don't like that......basically yaris with lexus badge from the outside anyway. Also if you find yourself saying cheap or cheaper when inside then something is wrong.....in a lexus?
ugly wheels anyway, they look like petals on a flower, like so many other cars.
you downgrade this car .we feel is better than big brother Lexus.
All Lexus cars are basically Toyota cars with nicer interior. They use the same chassis. Lexus is fake luxury.
There is a lot more to it than that. They have thicker paint, more sound proofing etc and I understand Lexus is made in Japan. Whereas some Toyotas are no longer made in Japan.
Nice. But it doesn't look like a Lexus.
HILARIOUS...YOU'RE HAVE THE NERVE TO EVEN TRY TO PERSUADE US THAT NOT DOING YOUR HOMEWORK IS A POSITIVE ADVANTAGE?. WHOEVER GAVE YOU THAT "ADVICE", SHOULD BE DISPOSED OF FORTHWITH.
