I really like how to played the animations over and over again for a few seconds, really helped me understand it more. This is the perfect valve video.
Thank you for making this video! I really appreciate the way you present the material. Your descriptions are so straight-forward and concise. Please keep producing!
Just a note... This is all for low pressure systems. When your system and/or differential pressures are in the thousands, ball and butterfly valves disappear, and globe and gate valves are the rule. Also, cheap globe valves may be intended to be directional. But the higher grade models will gladly hold several thousand psid indefinitely, w/o leaks. Dual disc gate valves will hold their pressure either way too. In many cases, due to the high effort necessary to operate valves under high pressure, pilot valves are part of the system as well, and are almost always some form of globe or needle valve.
@@kinanfadel1116 servicing the valves is a whole different discipline than purchasing. I have no clue what the commercial versions cost. But I'm quite sure that the globe valves are among the more expensive, possibly only being exceeded by the double disc gate valves. They remain in use, not because they're cheap, but because when you need to control or regulate several thousand PSI differential, everything else fails.
Ball valve not used for control flow . Ball valve is used for on/off operation . And specifically for frequent use, as found in a truck of water tanker .

Great information and appreciated effort, i hope you keep simplifying and illustrating the way you are doing. Just a small remark, if you could improve the audio quality of the video that would be great, many thanks for your effort and time.
hi thanks for the video, but i was looking to see how a foot valve works? seems the one i have needs to push the guard out to suck the water in? and logic will not allow me to understand this? if you can I would love a explanation and a video would be really great.
In the globe and solenoid valve the flow, as shown, is in the wrong direction. The flow should enter the valve from the top. If it enters from the side below the plug / disc, there's the risk pressure will force the plug / disc up. Whereas if the flow enters the top side, pressure will keep the plug / disc down
You mentioned that Globe Valves should never be used as shutoff valves in between a piping system. I'm sure this will make sense, but could you clarify why this is the case? ( thanks )
Very nice but I have question if we have Gate valve on our pipe line we have to set one globe or ball valve to decrease flow or pressure because you mentioned that gate vale just work to stop the flow. Please kindly answer this question
Great videos!!! These videos are very good learning material. Can i record your videos and post them on other chinese video platform?Since chinese can't watch youtube. I will of course annotate these videos are made by "ExplaninFull" and i will also show a link of your youtube channel when i post the videos. If you agree that, i will be grateful !!

Excellent !!
People like simplicity, simple explanations in simple words with simple drawings and good animation....excellent !
Very well made video. The diagrams/animations helped me understand in a second what I failed to understand by reading my textbook. Thank you.
Fantastic stuff. Anything with moving graphics like this I find hugely helpful. Many thanks ExplainFull.

it is not true at all, bro, in aircraft, most buffterfly valve is used for high pressure system
Thank you sir , But would you please tell us about the differences in price among all these kinds of valves ? .

Thanks for this video. I've always wondered how these valves actually work. And thanks to you, now I know.
Thank you, simplicity is priceless!
The ball valves are used to control the flow of liquids.
Very nice presentation, thanks for sharing.

Pretty concise and simple!
Superb and easy explaination ..please make videos on flange
Check valves are life savers!!
I'm a valve tech ,helpful information
I liked the small test at the end of video
please come back and make more videos, the few you got are awesome!
Excellent and informative video!
Amazing explanation!!!
GREAT VIDEO!
Thank you . Very nice and helpful.
Very well put together video, thanks alot!
Thank You , It was so benefitious
I liked the final example: pressure valve illustration.

very good video, thank you :)
Very good, thanks!
Great work 👍
very very useful video bro, and make more videos. God bless you
Excellent, excellent video. Two thumbs up.

Very Good .
Great animations
cool clearly👍
Lovely animation
good stuff
Great video.
I need a valve that will hold a very small vacuum. Will a ball valve work?
Excellent explanation.....
Very nice sir...So useful

Thanks for sharing its useful
simple explain , very good
thank you!
well done
Very informative
Amazing
Thanks very helpful
Thank you sir , But would you please tell us about the differences in price among all these kinds of valves .
can shut off valve or a mini ball valve replace , Non return valve, for air filling .

maybe because a backwards pressure can damage the seals?
@@MrSmith-rk4jq Yes he even mentioned that
Excellent...
thanks for the video! I have a question: Can I regulate the water intensity with a solenoid valve?
absulately briliant. thanks

Thank you it's super helpfull
Well made!
Well done! Thank you.
Why should the globe valve not be used in a piping system?
Usefull
I hope you do a lot more video
About half of all this info. is correct.
What exactly is in the incorrect half?
I HAVE A QUESTION. WHAT IS THE "CLASS" IN VALVES CHARACTERISTIC? FOE EXAMPLE GATE VALVE CLASS 1500.
That's pressure rating, I guess. More the class, more the pressure it can be used in.
Pressure class. 1500# is the ANSI standard
