    The two major reason for the negative review on DLC is
    1. It made the game harder, which I don't think you would take issue with :)
    2. It made it look like you can use the Dreadnought as 1 of your 4 soldiers, when it is actually a bonus soldier that can only be used on certain missions (like Vakir), so people were angry they got misled.
    In terms of leveling the armory, it's generally better to 'not' level the knight reward tier, to keep their levels low, for two big reasons:
    1. Less chance of a reward knight with the "wrong" skills leveled. This was more of a problem at game release because respec was not as simple as just paying 2 requisition, but it still sucks to pay like 2-3 requisitions for knight only to realize you need to pay another 2 to fix their skill tree.
    2. Low level knights only have 1 critical wound available on Grandmaster so if their hp reach 0, they die. Paradoxically, you actually want this because recovering gene seeds from dead knights is how you grant extra skill points to an otherwise maxed level knight, so keeping knight reward low makes the rookies easier to kill to feed your better knights.
