Great stuff. After changing my daughters screen display (she broke it twice), I noticed that the fingerprint sensor cable was badly twisted the first time round, but I managed to re-assemble it all. When changing the display the second time, the fingerprint sensor cable split because of the flattened twist in it, so I had to buy a new one (£3.49 on eBay UK). When the new one came I saw that the flat cable that goes into the sensor was on the other way round. When I checked closely, it seems that the original cable fitted in the factory was incorrect, which is why the cable was twisted. I think the assembler must have had to do that to make it fit. The new cable was the correct orientation and the flat part fitted cleanly into the sensor. So be warned when taking the back panel off, you might be unlucky and have the same incorrect factory fitted cable that I did. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
