any personal or company device (windows, iOS, android etc) when sign into office app will be azure ad registered. So, the policy you set to block windows will be useless. correct me if i am wrong

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate that. Did you watch the full video? I'm blocking Windows devices based on the OS verion/build. When Windows devices are on 21H2 (19044) they are not blocked. When on another version, say 21H1, then the device is blocked, even when it is registered with Azure. The combination of 4 CA policies makes this work. Also have a look at allthingscloud.blog/blocking-byod-based-on-unsupported-os-versions/ where I fully explain the demo. Hope this helps

The same policy block BYOD don't work. Does this mean device state can not be used? Have you tested the block BYOD policy? Does it work for you.?

Hi Simon, Yes it works for me, just like I did for the demo. Have a look at allthingscloud.blog/blocking-byod-based-on-unsupported-os-versions . Perhaps that will help you further. Let me know if this did not answer your question
