people didn't vote for adam lambert because hes gay, unfairly people didn't vote for rhydian because they assumed he was 100% safe, equally unfairly its all convenient for simon & louis to say leon shouldn't have won but then why they were talking as if though he was rhydian's equal/hailing him as britain's michael buble on the night of the final??! lol, they have themselves to blame as well for not backing him 100% cos he was danniis act not theirs
How things have turned :) Rhydian is a multi-platinum selling singer- yes, that's 600,000 sold to public and retailers-, reached top 3 in the charts and is requested everywhere.... L. Kackson is dropped by Sony with a shamble top 5 for his album (as the 'winner'? LOL-all other winners got no.1 ) and sold a paltry 130,000. Yepp, one year on , Rhydian is flying high and Leon watches Rhydian videos - he must have a lot of spare time:)
I think people vote for the one that they percive as the nice guy that needs to win. It happens here in America. This year Adam Lambert lost to Kris Allen... which makes not sense at all..... but wmotional peple vote like hundreds of times here. On my eyes. Rhydian is the winner of that year on X factor, by far.
I reckon its the kids with their mobiles, free texts and whatnot who got Leon to win, but then are unable to support him any further. Maybe there IS a lot of support from the younger generations out there, but the reality is, that these stars need finanicial support, and not just verbal.
Rhydian is a great guy, but when i hear to him singing I get sleepy...its to slow and church-opera- sound like..but when i see Leon J. iI have to see it again and again... ;-) i like his voice better because he can sing other styles of rythms...
He may have a good voice, but he isn't the type of performer that becomes really successful in the popular sense. Leon will be successful in the same way as Buble. Just watch. Rhydian will do well in theatre.

Not to mention he is boring and not as adorable and attractive as Leon. Send Leon to the States. We will make him very successful here!
