The Case 30 series were great tractors. I grew up on a 830 and 930 Only other tractors close was the John Deere 4010 and 4020. They were also great. When Case came out with the 70 series they were fantastic.
We never had any Case tractors on the farm when I was growing up, but your channel has made me appreciate them. When I locate a larger place and need additional horsepower these 1960s Case tractors are on the short list.
They are some of the cheapest tractors you can buy. They just don't do anything great or efficiently but they run fairly reliably and can get most anything for them parts wise still. Only downside is being a low cost to purchase tractor you can spend all you want to fixing them up and it won't add any value. Also poor farmers own them and deferred maintenance happens often so you gotta be careful when looking over one.
Love the old Case tractors! Working on a 830 ck trike now. Put a 850c bucket loader motor in it. But injection pump stuck so another hurtle. Merry Christmas!!
I’m currently looking for a new used engine block for my Case 411b Serial # 6100050 Possibly in the Pennsylvania area. Any help would be greatly appreciated
30 days is more than fair Dave, and your being more than generous with the guys that left them for a year . My buddy and I resold ones from his farm sale that were never picked up 👍
Anyone that was interested in the tractor with the welded block I would be worried about it if it was done right I brought a coop or ccil tractor it got welded without removing anything it never gave me any trouble ever and I brought a 720 diesel tractor with a kinda bad looking weld on it and it never gave me any problems if it don't at the first it should never

Junior mint that name came from Tyler hoovey of hoovey's garage he nicknamed him and it just stuck many years ago
