I have an different idea. The one thing that changing fate is not the MC, but the Stellaron itself. While Caelus or Stelle are the ones with the choices, the Stellaron is what allowing them to move things foward. And this isn't the FIRST time this happened but mentioned through history of every planet so far (Belebog and Luofu) and even happening through the main game. A thing that many misunderstand about the Stellaron is that is not a "cancer" but actually a grant wishing device that are able to change the fate of someone's life or entire civilitation. Alicia Rand used the Stellaron to summon a huge winter to save Belebog from disaster. The Ambrosial Arbor grow again because of a Stellaron. When the MC came in contact with Nanook, the Stellaron resonate with their wish to defeat the Beast. When Cocolia became some type of ice adbomination, she used the power of the Stellaron, but when tried again it killed her. When the MC was stabbed by the Lance of Preservation this activated or resonated with the Stellaron, thus able to change Paths. If you read Nanook's lore, he used to be a human before, and he came in contant with a Stellaron thus ascending to Aeonhood. All of these events are or will be connected through the Stellaron itself.
I always just figured that MC was Akivili reborn or at least the emanator for Akivili. Since Aeons have rules they have to play by, for instance Fuli can only catalogue and remember in preparation for resetting the universe again. The Destruction cannot create, only destroy or bring annihilation. The Trailblaze cannot follow a predetermined path, but must make their own, as that is what Trailblazer does, creates their own way forward. Part of this theory comes from the voiceover for Myriad Celestia: "Akivili(Trailblazer), depart(connect the worlds) once more, Akivili(trailblazer)! Countless shooting stars streak the sky tonight.. Should you choose the right one(create the correct path forward)... it will carry your wish(to unite "humanity") to thousands of distant worlds." I think the reason the universe ended previously, was that all of the population in space was divided when it came time to fight the power as it were. By creating a new road that connects all worlds, then your theory of friendship becomes a bit more likely. I think the MC(Trailblazer), is the only one that CAN force their way through to this future that has never happened in previous run throughs of history. Something or someone this time around managed to get the MC set up to do this. More evidence is that when the MC chooses not to board the Astral Express you basically get a game over, like, you failed the entirely of the run through, game's done, can't change the end. Honestly I think there's a lot of actual answers hidden in the Myriad Celestia trailer we just don't understand yet.
When you were discussing how the Aeons are the embodiment of philosophical ideals, it really reminded me of the devils from Chainsaw Man, and how they are strengthened and even weakened based on the fears of humanity. With the new Ruan Mei trailer, suddenly her association with blessings and her interest in Aeonhood seem connected, as she seems to not only be studying the powers of Aeonhood through the study of their behavior in the Simulated universe, but the affects of a receptacle, in this case, the Trailblazer's simulated Universe team, receiving the effects of a certain Aeon path, aka the blessings. Perhaps she is studying how exactly these Aeon-hood ideals "choose" their receptacle similar to how the Chainsaw man fear devils manifest the image/powers of a devil from humanity's collective fears. , to one day find a formula for receiving the power of an Aeon herself? perhaps? who knows. To relate back to your video, perhaps a stellaron is like a jojo-esque plot device in being a blank state for Aeonhood energies and it attracts a whole bunch of other people with strong Aeonhood energies, aka the rollable characters. Or if we frame it to the studies of Ruan Mei and the simulated universe, perhaps an entire collective of people, such as a four person team, can share the blessings of Aeonhood.
I think the general idea is sound. The Tenets of the Trailblaze basically state as much: Explore, Understand, Establish, and Connect. This is me just speculating, but beyond linking the various world through the Star Rail, I suspect the Trailblaze is able to bridge the Paths. This is based on the stories we hear of Akivili and the nature of the relationships the Simulated Aeons have with Akivili whom we are assuming the role as avatar. Maybe the Stellaron Hunters are trying to utilize the power of the Stellaron imbedded in the MC and all the connections they're making with the various civilizations of the Universe in order to truly rekindle the Trailblaze Path? Allowing there to be a new potential ending, and a new beginning.
The theory might not be that cracked at all honestly. The reason Star Rail carries the super title of 'Honkai' is because Imaginary Energy isn't just present, its a fundamental concept that allows the story to function. And according to Honkai 3rd Impact, one of the strongest means that humanity has access to for subverting, influencing and ultimately gaining control of that imaginary power is through our feelings and emotions. And, completely unironically and without getting into specific spoilers, a crucial and near-end game reveal is that the emotion *best* able to gain control of imaginary is Love. Quite literally, the love and bonds between the main characters is the key that allows them to master forms of energy that, given their status as humans, they should otherwise have NO business controlling. In conclusion? Wake up to reality people. This is a Mihoyo game. Of course the Power of Friendship was Meta all along.
[Warning, Honkai Impact 3rd Kolosten arc spoilers below] Otto was able to change Kallen's fate, 500 years later, but the best he could do was create an alternate universe, where she was not executed, and to realize his deepest wish, Otto had to rely on the power of the Imaginary Tree, to do so. A soul long departed from it's body, cannot be reclaimed, as Otto implies after his death in "Thus Spoke Apocalypse". Each branch of the Imaginary Tree opens new possibilities. The Imaginary Tree, it's branches are different "worlds" with different events and/or outcomes than other branches of it. So, Otto had to access the tree after his death, to create a new branch where there was a different outcome of Kallen's fate. With enough power from manipulating the Imaginary Tree's energy, one can change the fate of others. It's why even after his own death, Otto was still able to change Kallen's fate. Perhaps something similar is why the Trailblazer is able to change fate itself; the Imaginary energy responded to the Trailblazer's wish to save those others, and so, he/she was able to change Belebog's fate. It's implied through the easily missable "bad ending" of Star Rail, that the Trailblazer is the reason how outside of the bad ending, everyone besides Cocolia was saved, as it's implied in the bad ending of Star Rail, that everyone in the Express crew died because the Trailblazer did not join the Nameless in their adventures in Belebog. And when you see how things went in the Belebog arc, had the Trailblazer not been with them, it's clear everyone would been screwed. The Trailblazer clearly is a vital role in the Stelleron Hunter's goal of fighting for a good future via Elio's insight of the future and his script to reach that future
I don’t really think it’s the power of friendship, but more like the idea of new found connections creating new unforetold possibilities. That’s how I interpret Qingque’s demonstration.
@@Maevix3142 since akivili is dead and theres no aeon of trailblaze anymore, so this opens a chance of the path of trailblaze spliting into "adventure" and "friendship"(i think relationship or companionship would be better names, but Just for the meme) if another aeon claiming those paths shows up.
I've always tought that trailblazer's ability to change fate is somehow linked to Nannok, perhaps he is an eminator of destruction so he could destroy his old fate or something, but this theory it really cool. It would be amazing if he turned into aeon of fate before facing Nanook.
The power of one's will is very powerful when it matters. A cat of my family, he was long fated to be dead, but he defied his fate of death out of willpower. He, unfortunately, couldn't defy that fate forever, we eventually needed to put him down to ease his suffering. The power of one's will is very powerful, but it's a case by case basis on the person and the situation, wherever one can defy fate by sheer willpower alone or not.
Well, the only way an Aeon can die is if their Path is absorbed by another... or if the Aeon is killed by another Aeon. I think the Stelleron Hunters want to turn the Trailblazer into an Aeon.

good theory, i wonder if Ruan Mei ever finds a Stellaron if she will use it to grant her wish too
@@Redishrat_ChHonestly seeing how much that word has been mentioned since the beginning, I am surprised nobody seems to link the dots.
goodness u are cooking a fine dish right there i like your theory *clap clap* :D :D:D what u are saying is making sense
this also actually debunks the whole Nanook created the stellaron theories

Power of friendship might be a bit absurd but I kind of agree about at the end MC will create the new path to solve the main plot of the story

The ability to change fate, by channeling the power of others? That's a very suspicious parallel between the Trailblazer and the Traveler.
