What if the students are in a blank condition when they know nothing about vocabularies of describing people ?
In my opinion it is better to ' pre-teach' them the vocabs before presenting the main topic along together in 'apersasi' and 'elaborasi' steps.

kayak setingan sekali videonya, saya pernah mengajar seperti ini di kelas 7 dan hasilnya malah ngobrol sendiri (maklum sekolah swasta) dan ini hanya cocok di sekolah negri aja yang mempunyai kompeten bagus (dari siswanya juga/individu)

Well, English is a foreign language in Indonesia. But yes, you still have to pay attention to the grammatical mistakes . Perhaps pronunciation should be highlighted too. They should also be taught how to write good English.
