You have helped a LOT of people. BUT, I bought 2 switches from Rockauto An economy Chinese made Dorman Pt number 924608 I have toothpicks wedged around it just to get blinkers (Sometime). My advice is to get a true Chevy changeout part from a Dealership who has a service dept. IF They have it or can get it. Good hunting. This video is spot on, On how to change it out. Thank you Oscar!
I have a 1995 Chevy 1500 with a broken hazard switch that looks exactly like this one. I removed the hazard fuse so it didn't kill the battery. It was the #1 fuse in the inside fuse panel. I don't know why. But I found the horn and the hazards are on the same fuse.
So you obliterated the switch after you already took the top column off using the E5, or before? You said the screwdriver is the only tool you used but what about the t25 and e5 needed to remove the plastic?
I took out my broken hazard switch and put a new one in I picked from a wrecking yard the replacement fit right in but the hazard lights are still stuck on.. any ideas?
I have a 95 blazer LT and can’t seem to find a switch dealership said they only carry the whole blinker until with the hazard switch anybody know where to get just the switch?
if this switch is out will my turn signals not work? My turn signals are out on my 98 GMC Jimmy, I replaced the flasher today but no luck with the signals, hoping this is the problem.

I need to replace that hazzard switch. Can't figure it out.
There are two T-25 screws for bottom piece, then there are two E-5 screws, that screw up into top piece.
This saved me a lot of money. Thanks.
