I like how you mentioned the idea of no excuses. Until recently, I was always kind of depressed and carrying it everywhere with me, showing the world when I'm tired and stuff because what I didn't understand at the time was that I was making excuses for myself. I hated that I hated my performance in so many tasks in life. Fast forward a week later, after motivational videos and learning to change my mindset, I came to realize that, as disciplined as I already was, I thought about myself too much and just made excuses for everything. Now, instead of thinking all the time about myself, I consciously catch my mind and stop thinking about myself and rather about the person I'm talking to. I try to really listen to them, and ask many questions about them, instead of the casual 'Oh me too, I did this and that, etc". Also, like you mentioned, the excuses. I would be so tired and just accept it. Now, I'm mostly better but I'll catch myself tired and will think no excuses, and how it doesn't matter how tired I am, I still have to perform. Accepting it isn't gonna improve anything, so you gotta make the best with it. Thought I'd share this because these are some of the things that have recently changed my mindset and I would've never thought I'd heard something similar in a hairstyling video, lol
I think for now that you should keep going with this look for a while at least. Looks great! (bty: I still have the same, though the front fringe never flips up as well as yours, so Dre Wins!)
