Let me just give a proper shout out to the main man here... I took a couple of lessons with Andy... and his patience and explanation style is top notch... Before I met him I learned by ear but now he helped me a lot to understand what the heck I was doing on guitar. Enough said, I highly recommend lessons with him!!!!
I just discovered your channel and am blown away by your talent. Not just how you play, but how you teach also! It actually makes sense . Keep up the great work, looking forward to many more of your videos!
Mr. Dacoulis....really really nice.....thanks for the chords ....the licks....with alternate location on neck but...most important..slowing it down ..appreciate that so much
@@AndyDacoulis Hi again Andy! I've been struggling trying to re-learn my right hand technique. I'm trying to decide whether to anchor or float. Can I ask what your advice would be on this issue?
I'm more of a Bebop player and I thought it was kind of funny how your Altered licks felt more comfortable in my hands than some of your more slidy pentatonic licks. I really liked the beginning of lick #3 where you move up a minor 6th then descend a bit of the Gmajor scale into that double slide. Super cool-sounding stuff. Also, I feel like smooth jazz is fundamentally built for the guitar, since a lot of the licks work quite easily on the guitar, whereas bebop is a bit more awkward since it was invented by sax and horn players.
Hi everyone - I have plenty more Licks Lessons in this Playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLrfVWdKYFEluLUVhkjHa8X1lVA-ZFaCtz.html
Sincèrement je suis ebloui par ton jeu et ton son. De plus, tes explications c'est du cristal ! Merci Maître !

@@AndyDacoulis hey Andy Jason here again. What would you recommend the best electric guitars for this style of music? Thanks again!
@@jasonjensen7818 Hello - I suppose any hollow or semi-hollow guitar would be best. Ideally with humbucking pickups for the warmest tone possible.
Great Stuff. Will you see my stuff? ua-cam.com/video/25Dil6bzFxo/v-deo.html

That's a good point - a lot of the Smooth stuff is pentatonic-based and therefore comfy on the guitar. Thanks for your insight
Merci Andy pour tous ces cours ! Le lick 4 étant familier cela me permettra de le réécouter.
