    Bethany, Thank you for making this video using the new offset, and showing everything we can do. I am glad that you had a plan with your fonts, images you were going to use, and step by step instructions. It is so hard for me to keep up with someone that is going back and forth trying to decide on what they are going to do. You are so easy to follow. I don’t know which one is my favorite - I like them all. So very helpful.

    Bethany, I am truly obsessed with your craft room and color palette. You are very good at putting together your tutorials, too. When I bought my Joy and searched the cricut tab here on UA-cam, I am so glad I clicked on your channel first! I am currently working on my craft room/me room but being a perfectionist on the details, I find myself stuck and overwhelmed. Also, being a granny who just turned 62, and doing most of it myself makes it move slower. It will get done by summer and then I can start doing some of these crafts for my 2 year old granddaughter!!! Thanks again for what you do 💕💕

    Wow. You are awesome. I didn’t see what the fuss was about offset but you have put a whole new spin on it with the slicing and inset tips. I love that you used all the different materials to demo the technique as I don’t use cardstock much but I certainly will now that I’ve watched your amazing video. Thank you so much I usually struggle to sit through the long vids but couldn’t wait to see what you did next in this one. Top shelf.😎🇦🇺

  • @pansygirltaylor9267

    I’d use the non welded offsets for words when Bible journaling, glue book journals, or card making so that I could make them... well funky...scattered, tilted, etc.

    • @pansygirltaylor9267
      @pansygirltaylor9267 3 роки тому

      And instead of using vinyl, I’d cut the contour layer on a floral printed paper or some sort of decorative paper, the words on a coordinating paper or black, and then run the worlds through my sticker maker. Layer them for the journals or cards.

    Hi Bethany! I just want to tell you how much I enjoy your videos and your whole vibe, white is my fav color! You got a new sub and admirer. To my shame, I bought a Cameo a few years ago and it’s still in the box🙈 but someone introduced me to the Cricut Joy and from wanted to learn more I run into your beautiful Chanel. I watched you once using the maker to create your print design for your Cricut Joy and that’s when I found out that the Joy can’t print, so I’m asking if the Maker should be a more of use for diversity of projects or if you know a hack of how to print on The Joy?

    • @Bethadilly
      @Bethadilly  3 роки тому +1

    Thanks, Bethany, for this thorough explanation of the offset feature. I would love to know if you can think of a way we can use this to print stickers using the print then cut method but actually cut the stickers out on the Joy. I have seen some hacks on UA-cam but they require creating the stickers in another program and then uploading them to Design Space.

    • @courtstho9161
      @courtstho9161 3 роки тому

      I have seen people do this by changing the machine at the top to 'maker' (as they have the print and cut option), following through the steps and using that to print the stickers you want. Then you have to change your machine back to the joy after printing, connect it and then initiating the cut and it will sense and select the necessary ones for your design. I believe these are all the necessary steps but let me know if it doesnt work and ill try and find the source I watched it from!!

    Beth you know I am a fan of your videos. Your soothing voice and clear directions are perfect for these projects. I am a long time user of Cricut and I have fallen in love with my Cricut Joy! What a great little handy machine. I still have my Air2 and I love it as well but using the Joy is a JOY! The purpose to my post besides saying thank you is wondering if you would ever consider doing a video on your favorite fonts. You have used many different ones and I see you have gotten some from Font Bundles which I use also. I also have some from DaFont but as I'm personalizing mugs and tumblers sometimes I want a different look. I trust your judgement! I am going to make a list on my phone so I can reference it when I'm working on a project. Just a thought....

    Absolutely love this!! You get straight to the point but so simply that it’s actually understandable and easy to follow!!!! One question my explore doesn’t give me any options to choose materials like how your one does is that maybe because I have my wheel/turner thing set to iron on/paper etc instead of custom? Xx

      Thank you! And yes, set your dial to custom to see all of the material options. If you're set to anything else, your machine won't give you options because you've already set your cut setting with your dial.

    Hi Bethany, I am new to your channel and my Cricut maker. I had to stop to say how well you explain how to cut or make the shapes. I am so happy I found your channel, thank you so much!! I made tumblers as gifts for Christmas out of permanent vinyl and applied mod podge dishwasher safe over it, not sure if I was to do that, I see that you didn't. So I learned that I really didn't need to do that step! Thank you for your informative and relaxing channel!! Happy Holidays to you and yours!!
