I need not only a stabilizer I need as well a protection from power blackout. My Zircon AVS before provided electricity for the computer during some minutes after power blackout. But the new Zircon AVS just gets switched off like all other appliances. We have during rainy season nearly daily power blackouts. On the back side there are many outlets, some in red and some in white/grey. I don't know what this colors mean and what to do to get what I need.
I understand your concern about needing both power stabilization and blackout protection, especially during the frequent power blackouts in the rainy season. The different colors of outlets on the back of your Zircon AVS might indicate various functionalities.
Typically, red outlets on a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) or similar device often denote battery-backed outlets, while white/grey outlets may indicate surge-protected outlets without battery backup. The battery-backed outlets are designed to keep critical devices running for a certain duration during a power outage.
To achieve what you need, ensure your computer is connected to one of the battery-backed (red) outlets. This should allow it to stay powered for a few minutes after a blackout. Double-check your Zircon AVS manual for specific details on the color-coded outlets and their functions.
If your current device isn't meeting your blackout protection requirements, you may need to explore other UPS options that offer a longer runtime or additional features. Feel free to share more details, and the community here may have suggestions tailored to your specific needs.
Thanks sir!
Most welcome!
My area has low voltage so we use a stabilizer for refrigerator, My pc doesn't get enough power so it shuts off while I'm using it. Can I plug my pc in the same stabilizer? Will it affect the cooling of refrigerator or can it cause any harm to my pc components?
It's ok to use the same stabilizer for fridge and pc but you should make sure the stabilizer power is sufficient
@@ElectricityFrenzy ok thanks
@@ElectricityFrenzy the stabilizer is 2000 watts, and my pc uses around 150 watts and the fridge around 500. Is it alright?
Right, it would be suitable for both of them
Is stabilizer worthy enough for pc doesn't it cause any relay while voltage updown@@ElectricityFrenzy
