Hey, add this to the playlist please. You’re missing these last few videos on the playlist and I’m LOVING your videos. ❤❤❤❤
The IRS is tearing the ass outta me LMAO anyone remember the Jerky Boy's
Funny ending!!!
1:08 I totally agree!❤❤❤
10:30 the bongos!!! 🥁🤣💕👏👍
Been full time hic for a yr and few months and it's been all word of mouth. Porches, BR remodels, doors, etc and some handyman small jobs. I knew a bunch, but learned alot more from your channel bro. So thanks for sharing. Real talk
I knew nothing and learned most from here lol
Hahaha..the end, classic Handyman! 😆
Great job Handy, HandyOn!
Thank you for the video and insight bro. Really enjoy watching you content. 5yrs now
That "antique" stuff youre referring to, is called a monoflow system. It is still used worldwide.
Good stuff handy.
Always watch to the end. You never know what gem might be added to the video.
The amount of subtle jabs in each video is impressive.
Also, Jerky Boys II over here.
So good👍
You know you could have did a wallhung boiler and still did AC with an air handler. I have radiant heart in my house. I put a Burnham Alta in my house myself, and eliminated my water heater. Then I put in a Goodman Air Handler and AC. These new boilers are crazy easy to install, it was as simple as piping supply and return, and wires.
Make sure the exhaust pitches down toward the furnace.
The air intake pvc doesn’t have to be 3inchs but won’t hurt it
LOL I just had that same scam call at the end of the video
Safety squints on point as always.
That tool to cut circles in the sheet metal is really cool.
Nice!
Holy moly that looks like a lot of work
It's not.
I have never been notified before of his live streams
Do you have the bell clicked?
"Ring that bell! Woooo wooo" *bangs hammer on table 🔨😂💕👍
I might be ahead of the horses ass here, but don't forget to use a fair amount of rubber hangers for those inducer vents. They vibrate like hell after a year.
The way things are going i bet that mini split in each room heading to a central condenser is the future
In western Washington we use forced air for moisture control.
🇺🇸🤘 Heck Yeah Handy Dandy 🤘🇺🇸 Dude! That's frickin awesome! I just had the same call while I was watching this video 😂🤣 I cannot repeat what I said because I'll get banned. 😭😉
👍
The chat didn't last very long.
I've been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty.
What tool were you using to cut the duct work - looked like a drill attached to some kind of circle guiding gizmo?
Its a tool for cutting duct work. You can get one at Lowes.
Poor lady. lol
Haha, she got more than she bargained for in that call.
What do you think about hydronic forced air?
Where does it fall between regular forced air heat (dry) and baseboard (in the way)?
I don't have any experience with it.
What size was the black shirt you were wearing? We're about the same size.
The black one was XL
no glue on the exhaust ... fr
It's just mocked up. I didn't glue it together until I got the furnace in its final spot connected to the supply and return.
lol telemarketers.
opinion from someone who doesnt work in the industry - in my experience central air/heat is preferred over radiant because most radiant systems get berried in walls and floors making them difficult/costly to repair if leaks, clogs or something happens.
🍓’d or 🐻‘eed
You guys with basements... 😏 Real technicians/installers have to work in tight attic spaces or underneath crawl space to install/work on central air!
That would make things much more difficult.
@@TheHandyman1 most of us in this country don't know how to dig. Some day in the future I'm sure we'll remember especially during the next ICE age!
Great Video! one question: Why did you upsize the pipe exhaust and fresh air pipes coming from the furnace? Did it have to do with the long run to the exterior?
It's what the specs call for. The same housing is used for multiple btu furnaces. This is 110,000 btus and requires up size.
Do you recall the size of the upsize?@@TheHandyman1
There is a chart and you have to look at how long the runs are and how many bends are in that distance. This is 3 inch pvc. 2.5 inch would have worked too.
I always stay to the end. (National tax relief program ?)
Why do people whistle while they work? Does it mean they’re in their happy zone?
This is a modern heating system?
Yes. Latest and greatest.
I own a duplex built in 1873, had steam, converted to a boiler (hydronic) system. Love the heat style with radiators

I thought you were off grid at the lake, no heat, no cooling except a swim in the lake?
??
Hey, this looks like job for a union guy

Question... Would mini splits been an option??
Not in cold climates. The ones that claim they do. Don't.
I think it depends on the sq ft, insulation and air sealing as much as climate. I built a 16x32 office with r19 in the walls, r50 in the ceiling and 1 inch foam under the floor in Pittsburgh. The mini split has handled single digits numerous times but it doesn't have to work very hard and its oversized for the sq ft.
What if you kept the boiler system for primary heat and installed a ductless system for AC season?
Just a thought…
That would have worked. And If it were my house I might have gone that rout. This house will be sold to people under the age of 35. They are going to want to see a brand new HVAC system with Central Air.
@@TheHandyman1 fair enough Handyman👍👍
