Hey! Nice prod sis! One thing that I would like to point out is that Clams Casino (the producer behind this song) often use a bunch of vocal samples to make his melodic parts, and use A LOT of granular synthesis, which gives that kinda of dreamy/ethereal vibe texture. Pigments 5 from Arturia has one built-in, but there is hundreds of different granular synths that you could use to make the same effect, Portal is another one and there is also one for Max4Live device for Ableton. Talking about the drums, Clams uses real drum sounds on the snares, hats, crashes, riders, there is a Drumkit with some sounds of his that I can send to you if you would like it! Also, I know all that because I'm totally obsessed with his production, it's one of the bests I've ever heard. I also made a song inspired by Nights like this, it's in my channel if you would like to give it a listen haha! Overall, I kinda really liked the approach in your version, it kinda got some Frank ocean vibe, idk, but I liked it! Keep goinggg!!!🌟🌠🙏 ❤
@@itsblank66 granular synthesis is fire! there's a producer i like that made an amazing video on Clams style too he's called "loner" if u wanna check it out: ua-cam.com/video/lqazOnFWatM/v-deo.html
I forgot I subbed to this channel. What a nice surprise. Awesome sweater, goes really well with the setup and lighting EDIT: btw, would you mind making short rundown on your mastering chain? your stuff sounds so good out of the box, while I struggle to keep my levels in check on the mastertrack
thank you 🫶🏻 I usually use ozone 11 on my master but I add it when I’m finished with the arrangement! I don’t use anything while I’m producing to avoid latency issues
I would delay the snare by 1/64 so it gives it more feel

thank you so much, I didn't know! it actually makes a lot of sense. will try to incorporate some granular synths and vocal samples :)

Totally agree on this one ! Also reverb (grand hall/orchestra) could do a lot of depth into this one..
Nice dig anyway !
Keep going
I’m so happy I found you today!!! This is amazing

@@itsblank66 thank you. I think I might be doing too much on the master chain, instead of focusing on producing
Nice 🔥
its amazing best would be to add rim shot for metallic texture instead of snare 😃 add EQ on kick (low pass) and bit drum bus maybe 😁for distortion
that’s great advice! I’ll try it out :)
I think you could consolidate your chords and chop them to recreate that "repeating" feel the original has
How did you split the stems?
I used moises.ai
You missed the vox sample but nice video
