One of the studio’s I worked at in the late 80’s had an SSL B series. It was the first or second B series in the US. Also, It didn’t have the automation computer. However, We - our genius maintenance engineer and I- built one 😁.
Hi I have the UC1 and learnin and lovin it. My question is where is the solo listen for the new ssl 4KB eq section? so one could sweep certain frequencies and find resonance my waves ssl EV2 plugin has this function

There isn’t one. You have to use your ears, or place an analysis plug-in after it.
I always wondered how the rewiring was done on the console for the LMC. I thought it would've been more bubblegum & tape, but that wasn't the case.
