I saw this game on live TV when I was an 11-year-old kid. Funny, after all these decades, before I saw this excellent video, I remembered the Morrall pass to Warfield late in the 4th quarter as a touchdown bomb. It wasn't a TD at all, but it was definitely a momentum booster. Cleveland was even tougher than I remembered. Great job on rendering this classic matchup. Thank you.
Thank you for putting this together. Miami had one of the best offensive lines ever and Scott and Anderson were a great safety tandem. I'd take them over Harris and Walters.
Browns defense shocked the Dolphins early and had Phipps just have been a little more careful with the ball, history might have changed. Dolphins deserve all the credit for their accomplishment.
Dolphins defense and Warfield won this one for Miami. Browns defense did a good job on the Dolphins offense pretty much all game - the protection for Morrall was surprisingly bad this day - but the CLEV offense turned the ball over too many times to win in a close game.
Browns had great offensive line play. Those are legendary names on the line for Browns fans. I was 14 watching this game and I remember it like it was yesterday.
Great work my friend!!! But have to ask, where did you find network broadcast of this game? Unbelievable! NBC sports broadcasted 16 of the 17 Miami Dolphin games that season. ABC SPORTS televised the one Monday game they played against the St. Louis Cardinals.

@@michaelleroy9281 yes but it wasn't easy. They were actually losing that game going into the 4th quarter before they woke up. And it wasn't like they were lights out in the Super Bowl either.
@@Rockhound6165They were losing this game at HOME against the Browns also this one wasn't easy either only an 80 yard touchdown drive toward the end won the game

me too, I was 10. Heard announcer say that Miami had to go to Pittsburgh the next week, which is a little surprising with Miami being undefeated.
@@vs-yy5cx in those days they had some weird rotating system. very weird.
This is too cool, great job, I love my 70's football.

wow both Cleveland and Miami made the playoffs, now you know times have changed
Looks like it's going to happen this season too.
Thanks Rich 🌴😎🐬🏈………..Yes Merry Christmas and we can only hope 🐬 get in SB this season……….
Wow thank you, I only saw video for about 10..minutes of.. This game. Brownies almost ruined the perfect season.

Me too. I was 9.
If you remember this game so well at 9 years old, who scored the touchdown who won the game I know I was 18

I like that there is a full game. Can you send me the link of the nbc color broadcast clips. Thanks Richard.
Then thanks to a stupid rule the undefeated Dolphins had to go on the road for the AFC title game.
Last time I checked they won it anyway
