For crocheting a lining in place, it helps to either use a cloth with gaps between the threads to poke a hook, or to use a hole-poking tool to cut a line of holes the right size and distance apart to line up with your stitches. At that point, the lining fabric can be used and joined as though it was another piece of crochet cloth. I've not lined the bags I've been running a kickstarter for, but I like the idea of everything being 'of a piece' rather than a combination of different branches of textiles.

I just taught myslf to crochet last July & even as a left hander I can follow you Any chance, at all, of showing Us how to do a liner that goes all the way up to the peaks? Pretty please ❤
Hi Claire l think it would be a lot easier to line the bag if you had made it out of granny squares, might be an idea for a future project, all the best Carol from Scotland 🏴 😅
