Dromund Kaas is the capital of the Sith Empire, founded a millennium ago in the aftermath of the Great Hyperspace War. Since then, the sleek metropolis of Kaas City has grown into a symbol of Imperial power, towering over the surrounding jungle and looming dark against the stormy skies.
The millitary and the Sith have authority here, under the eye of the Emperor himself. Aside from the wildlife, the greatest threats are internal-slave revolts, feuding Sith Lords and the like. Planetary defenses are formidable, as the Empire still remembers its defeat and exile long ago.

I akways loved Dromund Kass. The dystopic world of the dark side was always so captivating.
Same. It's my favorite SW planet.
I will always say, Dromund Kass was one of The best RPG levelling areas in _any_ game. Its layout, storylines and quest chains would be a standalone game by itself.

when studying for university, every single time i crack up when i randomly hear blasters start shooting during my study session. i get flashbacks from the SWTOR days and then realize its from the video hahah.
Ah memories, when me and my friends used to play hundreds of missions all over this map….with hundreds of other players running around, dueling, doing missions etc. Such a good game

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've listened to this with my headphones on and passed out on my couch. It transports you to another world, or in this case, galaxy. Thank you so much for making all these videos. I listen to all of them from SWTOR. It's mine boggling how amazing the soundtrack to SWTOR (and KOTOR) is.

Drumond Kaas is my Fourth favorite planet after Korriban Ziost and Odessen.

This game had a great worldbuilding and atmosphere.
Too bad the gameplay that was already ancient when ToR came out is completely unbearable by now.
The story in general made me forget about the lack of comfortable control mechanics, which can indeed be unbearable at times. Still, I rather play this than any of the SW Battlefront games.

But sure, EAs latest attempts failed horribly. Its strange how one of the most influencing franchises from my teen years made itself so irrelevant.
Back to playing through Witcher 3 for the third time I guess xD
The music in this game is completely forgettable if it isn't outright ripped straight from KOTOR 2. Thanks to the asinine decision of bioware's to add level scaling back in 2013 around shadow of revan, you will never be able to 1-2 shot trash mob enemies at higher levels like you can with a good build in the KOTOR games and the game turning into a whifflebat simulator because of that really ruined it for me. I spent more time looking at my hotbar than actually seeing any of the lackluster animations and tanky ad spam.
Somehow everyone is always faster than you are even with a 150% speeder movement speed buff (which leads me to believe there's a lot of cheating and exploiting) and the community was always antisocial and cliquish as fuck even as far back as launch back in 2011 as a founder, so have no idea why all these fake comments are claiming it "saved their life" when its a decent singleplayer experience up to level 70 if you skip the Zakuul arc entirely at best (The "eternal fleet" is a milquetoast copy of the reapers from mass effect that don't stick around long and the invasion happens off screen with nothing changing on any of the world maps in game) and a random GMOD SWRP ban simulator at worst. Guilds were always dead and filled with massive lists of characters gone for months and even years but you will be randomly kicked from them overnight without warning at some point. Without even needing to say anything. Ever.
This game really needs the ability to place NPC's to fight and make custom Roleplaying levels like Halo Infinite has in Forge via the stronghold feature. I don't care about stupid stronghold decorations and NPCs that literally do nothing except be psuedo vendors selling nothing of value at best and stand around looking pretty like wall flower at the worst. Would be more fan generated content via something like Halo infinite Forge in a few weeks than the game gets regularly every few years. There is absolutely nothing to get attached to in this game without adding NPCs with custom player created dialogue.
You really don't feel like a character in the star wars galaxy at all compared to the KOTOR games and the game really needs to go more in the sandbox direction SWG did. Since its more accessible and fun to play, but there's no reason to get invested in it with all the increasingly predatory MTX schemes being thrown in over the years with far fewer in game activities and less loot than ever to obtain by actually playing the game. The last one bioware added was a relatively recent battle pass system back in 2022 before handing it off to broadsword since bioware didn't know what to do with the game the entire time besides use it as a living advertisement for whatever shows Disney was airing at the time. Canon be damned. "Here's some Prequel era and even New Republic era Mandalorian armor!" Fork over the cartel coins!
