went through these guys' discog not too long ago, and i think this is the quickest i've ever gotten addicted to an artist (pun intended). my current ranking looks something like this 9. Born in the Echoes - this is last because most of the tracks here, while fine, don't stick in my head at all and i never feel an urge to revisit them out of context. it does have its highlights though; wide open is fantastic and a top 3 closer for them, i love go too, reflexion is pretty nice, i can get behind under neon lights, but everything else on here is decent at best. not a bad album, but unremarkable compared to everything else they've done. 8. We Are the Night - very strange album. much more of a mixed bag than the previous but this gets points for having more tracks that i'd willingly revisit, though it has a few tracks i'd pass as well and they practically balance each other out. the title track, saturate, pills won't help, etc. are all great, though i don't care much for stuff like all rights reversed, salmon dance, battle scars, and so on. (also do it again is one of the better cuts here lel) 7. Push the Button - wish i could say i had this higher, haha. i still like this album but only the opener and closer rise to be more than great to me. everything else here is good too (the first four tracks are a particularly great run), but the rest of the chembros material is just that great to me. though this is prob the first album here i'd give the thumbs up at least. 6. Exit Planet Dust - as my first exposure to the chemical brothers i wasn't too crazy about this at first, but then i played it during an hourlong drive and MAN it clicked. leave home is a fitting start for the chembros discog, in dust we trust is so catchy that it pulls me in for the rest of the album, chico's groove and one too many mornings are great chill tunes, and while life is sweet is a good vocal track alive alone easily beats it for me, there's not much like reaching your destination right when that track finishes. my main gripe is that playground for a wedgeless firm didn't need to exist, but other than that this is solid from front to back. 5. No Geography - speaking of albums that are great driving music, holy majoly this is nice. it's an album that makes me want to get up and do stuff, i can't just sit down and listen to it. those first three tracks are great (especially the title track, GOD that tune is outstanding) and of course got to keep on is awesome. unfortunately the rest doesn't hit as high but it's all still very good. almost stands toe to toe with their early stuff for me. 4. Surrender - so let's get into more of that early stuff then! i'm always fascinated by this album's variety. i love music response and especially under the influence, but after that the album strays quite a bit from big beat and boy, is it neato. got glint feels uncharacteristic for them but i love it regardless, i don't think i like hey boy hey girl as much as everyone else does but its acclaim is well deserved, asleep from day and dream on are big growers for me, the passages of sunshine underground are an absolute delight, and out of control and let forever be are already great tracks made 10x better by their vocal inclusions, my god this stuff is so good. i'm surprised i put three albums above this one, but that's just how great we're talking from here. 3. Come With Us - this and the previous one are pretty much a tie, but i decided to put this one above because it needs more love, dammit! this album is just about as consistent as the last one was varied, but the consistency works wonders as well. the title track is a perfect start, totally wild stuff but it's awesome stuff too. the state we're in is the biggest grower in their whole discog; it just nails its calming feel so well. the middle section of hoops i really like, but the start and end of the track is just...wow...no words there. the test is almost their best closing track, amazingly climactic finish to everything the album was building up. and i can't not bring up star guitar; few chembros tracks manage to go hard and be beautiful at the same time, but this one does it and it's perfect. such a wonderfully atmospheric album here, i'm always down for revisiting it. 2. Dig Your Own Hole - fully deserves all the praise it gets. nearly every track here i love, and even the lower points are still worth a revisit. the mood-setting of block rockin' beats, the catchy, danceable, absolute blasts in the title track and elektrobank, the unchained explosiveness of setting sun, the addicting weirdness of it doesn't matter, the chill feel of lost in the k-hole, the raw emotion of where do i begin, it's all top notch stuff. and i can't understate this enough; the private psychedelic reel is flawless. legitimately fucking perfect. it has every quality of the tracks i just mentioned and makes it all work in one unbelievable showstopper of a closer. sure, some tracks here like don't stop the rock aren't as great as everything else but who cares? it's still good and you've got this monolith of a track waiting at the end as a prize for getting through it all. an undeniable all-time classic. 1. Further - i'll get this out of the way first, k+d+b and wonders of the deep are excellent tracks and still essential stuff but they're not the main reason i love this album as much as i do. that's because the first six tracks here are a near perfect run, and easily feel like the most unique things the chembros have ever put on record. snow could've just been a grating track but instead they turn it into something wonderfully spirit-lifting, escape velocity manages to be insanely impressive and danceable throughout its whole runtime, the raw power of the chords on another world is unreal, and same goes for dissolve but this one has even more atmosphere to back it up. then horse power is admiteddly a strange place to jump to next and on occasion i'm not too in the mood for its style, but it's immediately made up for with swoon, the track that convinced me to listen to this discog in the first place. i don't think i need to say more. this whole thing just flows so well and it's more than deserving to be called my favorite from them; two thumbs up. good lord how long have i been typing this for
1. Dig Your Own Hole 2. Surrender 3. Exit Planet Dust 4. Further 5. Come With Us 6. No Geography 7. Born in the Echoes 8. We Are the Night 9. Push the Button 10. For that Beautiful Feeling

Push The Button is where I began my collecting/listening. I found Born In The Echoes upon first/second listening to be their weakest of the bunch. No Geography is my tops for 2019 with Wake Up The Coma (FLA).

Bro push the button has always been my favourite album and I was so shocked to hear that critics don’t put it at #1 or 2
So far, I’ve only heard their first three albums but I LOVE THEM ALL. So my ranking this far is:

...sue me...
went through these guys' discog not too long ago, and i think this is the quickest i've ever gotten addicted to an artist (pun intended). my current ranking looks something like this
(also do it again is one of the better cuts here lel)

Born in the echo’s
Push The Button is where I began my collecting/listening. I found Born In The Echoes upon first/second listening to be their weakest of the bunch. No Geography is my tops for 2019 with Wake Up The Coma (FLA).
Helawolf same
Recent sub here, I'm digging your channel a lot. I recommend you check out the album Ecstatic Computation by Caterina Barbieri, I would love to hear your opinion on it. Keep up the good work man
Hey Pi I'm watching the new Bad Guys movie and the song Go is in it
Come With Us is severely underrated.
Their best album by far
literally all you need to do is push "Push The Button" to last place and this list is borderline identical to mine
there is no "worst" brothers album.
My ranking's mostly the same as yours, just swap round Come With Us and Born In the Echoes, and put Surrender at #1
I do not agree with We Are The Night. See this as one of their better records.
How About "Walter Carlos, A Clockwork Orange", not the soundtrack but the version Wendy (Walter) Carlos did with extended versions of timesteps.
Steve Aoki remade Do It Again...
neat, I'll make sure not to listen to it
@@TheWonkyAngle lol
Brandon Wells I didn’t know this
Nice list
Keep with the great vids bro 👍👍
PS. The chemical bros are my fav band ever
Man.. I can't belive that out there they are dudes thinking "push the button " is a good album.. Imo push the button is the worst album ever, just one good track... Even the artwork sux 😞 its the laziest album by the chemical brothers 😢
I like your hat :)
Best to worst fatboy slim
Please
I'm not gonna downvote this just because he warned ut
you said some factual information on the salmon dance being an awful song
i like the instrumental though XD
Push the button at the top....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
First two albums Great. After that sadly downhill fast!
Fuck you, Peter Barnes
Lol. I'd say 1st 4 then downhill fast.
