This trailer gives me the chills, bringing back the exact same feeling that the 1979 mini-series gave me. There's nothing quite like a silhouetted figure sitting in the dark, or peering in a second story window with creepy glowing eyes. And the Gordon Lightfoot music is the "chef's kiss." Can't wait to see this one!
Loved the trailer and I had given up hope on this project with all the delays , so it was definitely a surprise when it dropped! Feels a bit more like the original with a pinch of “30 Days Of Night” in the small sample we got.
I'm going to read the book again before I watch the movie.
I was there and saw the original in 1979. I was 17. Can't wait to see this new one.
I'm cautiously optimistic. There were a few part of the trailer that made it look like they'll capture the sense of dread the book has.
😅yea hi 👋 there
😅❤❤yea they sure are bood
I love your reactions you would be fun to watch a scary movie with!
I'm definitely intrigued! I'll wait for your review!
If you watch the orginal Salms Lot M/S you will find the real villian of the story is Ben Jeep door🤣, he battled that thing as much as the vampires lol
I wonder what they'll do with Susan Norton. King wrote her out of the novel just when the story needed her the most, while the 1979 TV adaptation simply forgot about her until the very last scene, thus wasting a really good character.
This trailer almost sells me on watching this movie. I’ll maybe wait for your recommendation, but this looks OK.
I'm hoping this doesn't let me down. The trailer seems pretty good. I love the original and the Rob Lowe one. The both have strengths and weaknesses. Fingers crossed
This looks like reboot of the 1979 original.
Somehow I was t already subbed. I am now 🙌🏻 5 hundo here we come
This looks very interesting. This is going to be a great movie.
Come on the 1979 window scenes looks much better and more creep compared to the silly glowing eyes we see from this new remake and you said that you get it that the effects back in the 70's isn't like it is today so why does it look bad in this remake ua-cam.com/video/w1unHCE_Npw/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/m9XJLJgJJuU/v-deo.html
I think you need to go back and rewatch the original to get a fresher look back to it before you review this new remake. Also why couldn't the 2004 remake do it right either with its effect and creepy look and feel ua-cam.com/video/PSBYziJUjZ8/v-deo.html.
The trouble with today's filmmaking isn't always come down to how the effects are made much better today from back then it's how you use it and how creative you are with it and filmmakers relay far too much on CGI than doing practical effect and being imaginative .
Thank you or the comment, I'll def take a look at hte links and I've rewatched it but its one of my favorite movies so I dont mind firing it up again :D
Top 5 stephen king books is ...1. The shining 2. Needful things,3. Salems lot, 4 the stand, 5. Storm of the century...even tho its a screen write
needful things is great! I even enjoy the movie adaptation too
yah, I'm getting a vibe not dissimilar to the , for many "Lot heads", the gold standard of vampire movies of the past -the 1979 mini series Salem's Lot with David Soul, James Mason, Bonnie Bedilia, Lance Kerwin, etc..... very hopeful!!!!!!
The OG is one of my favorite vampire movies! Bring back vampires that are scary and sinister not sparkly
I'm guardedly optimistic.
Well the book sucked, so if Kubrick is not involved, this is going to suck as well.
Copa do you like anything?
