Heya! For those who want to listen to the song on loop without being jumpscared by the alarm, I've uploaded a separate version of the song with it removed. ua-cam.com/video/jTgFFCTQHJw/v-deo.html
The alarms at the beginning gave me a mental image: imagine while racing in Metal Fort II, you're constantly being chased by armed metal fort branded turbo snails that are constantly shooting at you trying to take you down, making the race more of a survival race with the goal of completing the race before the armed turbo snails destroy your machine but before you can complete the race, the Huge F-Zero Accident mentioned in F-Zero X would occur
So in other words, you think Metal Fort II would play out like the Highway Battle Royale in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Over the Nexus, except the player would have to survive for five laps, rather than one minute.
IT'S FINALLY HERE!! Sorry for the long wait, I went through an F-Zero burnout for the past couple weeks and it was hard for me to touch the song for a while. But now I'm getting back into the swing of things and starting it off again with a bang! I'm really excited to see you all when the premiere happens, I have a little surprise in store ;D
This sounds so awesome. Is it alright if I make and upload a cover of this masterpiece? If not, then that’s okay. Also this song plays when that one Turbo Snail has had enough of being an NPC
Still hoping still since Ace League got in hoping for the count down of King League, Queen League, and Knight League based from Grand Prix 2 to happen. 🤞
i have no idea how i even stumbled across this stuff, but this entire playlist is genuinely some of the most high quality snes soundfont songs i have ever heard. metal fort II in particular really invokes the feeling of panic; like you're somewhere you were never meant to be, while at the same time having that "heroic" sort of feeling? its hard to describe, but if you told me these songs were in base f-zero and the stellaview versions without knowing they were fan-made songs, i would probably believe you. seriously though, really good stuff, i wish you nothing but the best of luck in the future
GOD DAMN HOW COULD I BE LATE FOR THIS MASTERPIECE?!?! Thanks for providing us with such amazing songs for F-Zero, cosmic. It really means a lot to me and so many fans. It's sad that Expanded is over, but maybe we'll see more soon.
I like this even more than Metal Fort 1 and that says something, the alarm at the beginning is honestly an amazing touch, reminds me of the intro to Mega Man X1
Really late on finding this but this song has been lodged in my head all damn day, it’s super well done! I can only imagine the chaos the boost panel and jump ramp sections would bring in F Zero 99 with how narrow they get, even with the tracks in 99 being much wider than normal
Worth the wait! I absolutely loved the frantic feel of this one. :D Hey, remember when I said I imagined Metal Fort as being similar to the "Sector" courses from X? Well, apparently my train of thought wasn't too far off, as the tempo is pretty similar for both this and Drivin' Through On Max. Really funny in hindsight.
The daring hero seizes his chance to escape the high-security prison of Metal Fort after being injustly locked in. But first, he needs to escape the guards of said prison ! I gotta say, the F-Zero SNES Soundfont sounds very nice for a JRPG theme, be it a battle song or a general theme song ! I wonder what could be cooked with that :D
Zero?!? Is that a reference to my Mega Man X comment on your last track or am I tripping? Either way you smashed it out of the park dude! You know, I know this is your last one of this series but there's no reason you can't continue to make your own fantasy SNES themed F-Zero levels in the future. And yeah sorry I know it's supposed to be F-Zero and don't get me wrong it totally is, but I can't shake the image of Mega Man X trying to escape a crumbling fortress that's about to blow up. So take that for what you will. All joking aside, this is excellent and I'm looking forward to whatever else you put out next. :)
Just finished completing all 5 leagues with all 8 machines in BS F-Zero Deluxe. My thoughts on each machine: Blue Falcon: Good Golden Fox: My favorite Wild Goose: Bad Fire Stingray: OK Blue Thunder: Great Luna Bomber: TRASH Green Amazone: Very good Fire Scorpion: Mediocre Edit: For clarification, this was all in standard mode.
We have one league left for F-ZERO 99, the problem is that they are in Leagues called "BS- 1 and 2" so we would have to find a logical continuation after the As league, and personally, a name like Joker League might be good.
While I do agree, it should be noted that "BS-1" and "BS-2" were only used specifically in the BS F-Zero Deluxe hack as there aren't any official names for the track lineups in BSFZGP2.
@@CosmicTailz Yes, because since I learned of the return of several Satellaview circuits on F-ZERO 99, then I went searching on the internet to understand the origin of these circuits, and yes in the meantime I realized that BS F-ZERO Deluxe is a remake of BS F-ZERO 2 in the form of a hacked rom for F-ZERO SNES
Otherwise the question is how they will organize them in a league, since there are only 2 tracks decor left and the others who are in the 99 come from the "practical" version of BS F-ZERO 2 This is still a mystery
I've had this suggested to me before, I could give it a shot, but I'm not sure if it'd come out very good since Super Mario Kart has a really specific style that I'm not familiar enough with...
@@CosmicTailz i rember another channel remade the f zero soundtrack in the smk soundfont. Maybe that could be a good place to look to at least get a better idea of how it sounds?
If the people from the Deluxe project ever approached you to use this music into the BS restoration, would you accept? I would love to race on those restored tracks listening to your amazing music! =0
Believe it or not, the opposite happened a couple minutes after the hack released where I jokingly went up and asked for an MSU-1 patch since a few people wanted my music in the game as a side feature. The patch would have to be custom-tailored to the hack itself due to how it works, but it's not impossible :3
Your original compositions sound a lot more like Touhou than the original F-Zero tracks do. On another note, do you intend to make your set of F-Zero arrangements and compositions downloadable once you're done?

To me, it sounds the alarm could have replaced the countdown and fade away 3 seconds into the bassline just how it is
Could you make a tutorial video on how to patch the track songs to bs f zero rom? And also the game itself
ATTENTION! AN F-ZERO VEHICLE HAS CRASHED INTO THE METAL FORT!
The great accident happened in metal fort. Canon.
...HEY!... Build the rescue helicopter!
Im seeing this today. the day before the anniversary. oh no

That's just the end of the Redline movie
Imagine if you could fight back with weapons. That would be really cool!
I kinda imagine Metal Fort not being on any specific planet, but being a Death Star-esque megastructure.
Same.

They made it even better than the first and they know it.
I was expecting Pizza Time from Pizza Tower with that intro ngl
It’s you bruh
⚠️ATTENTION!!⚠️ A LARGE MECHANICAL OBJECT HAS DAMAGED THE FORT INTERNALLY. INITIATING INTERIOR DEFENSE MECHANISMS...
This should be F-Zero 99’s new theme with new tracks, machines, sound effects, etc.
This would be EPIC!!!

Dang, I was not expecting that intro! Great track to end of the series with! I'll definitely stick around for any future tracks you make.

that siren at the beginning
Could see it replace the usual starting countdown, just this once.
Sounds as urgent as I imagined it would after the first track's description lol

You made this nostalgic respective to the original song but that has only been out for like a month, incredible
@CosmicTailz deserves more subscribers
(as said in premiere chat)
intro feels like a great mix of warmup Metal Fort 2 and your Metal Fort 1
These metal fort songs are perfect. Younger me would've thought you were the original composer for the songs that these extra tracks would have.
