The door on the beginning can be dangerous.
If someone outside sees your code, he/she can enter it and lock you inside your room - if you won't or can't break any blocks you are totally selflocked.

I dont like the bomber plane i have made flying machines that automatically drop tnt which is as simple as your design you just put a observer facing into a dispennser and load it with tnt
The observer will be triggered it moves foward.my design makes it have bigger.payload,doesnt require a player to light the tnt,only con is it could accidently blow things up you dont want to be blown up.

Im red stone pro and just put redstone torches behind the blocks that you want to be the password and reapeaters behind the not passwords then make 2 lines and connected to all redstone torches and one to all reapeaters and connect them to an xor gate to do that check a short or tut an then connect the xor gate to a door
