I struggled with addiction for a long time and tried to quit many times. I've been clean for almost a month. Please keep pruning me Lord! I never want to be out of Your will! I love You Lord!

Step 1: Be honest to yourself and acknowledge you're addicted (which you do, and that is good!)
Step 2: Seek help (your doctor, AA, support groups etc.)
Step 3: Maybe contact a "buddy"....a buddy is an ex-alcoholic who will help you
Step 4: Pray to God/the Universe and ask for help
Step 5: Be honest to friends, family etc. and tell them you have an addiction (so they won't serve alcohol). Maybe apologize to them....
Every day without alcohol will make you stronger and stronger, your life will change!

I have been struggling really bad leaving a relationship, alcohol I didn't know how, but I left it about 6 mo. Ago as well cigarettes...
I drank for over 30 years, then I stopped, regardless the pain I just can't do it, my body rejected it, now I understand when I realize God is working with me....
I just hope one day I will wake up with a new me...

Wow, you make it so clear. I’am going through so much and have been for months. I almost died in Jan. And before that my drive from Nova Scotia Canada to Flordia was a trip through Hell. My husband and I couldn’t believe everything that happened. I drove all that time with no sleep and never tired.
A 4 day 3 night drive was 8 nights 9 days. And there is so much more. You are making things clearer for me. Thank you

Man right when things were going good for me I got out to do some overtime for work since I was finally catching up on my financial situation. Then boom I get a citation on my car for expired registration. It was $140 I was so frustrated and stressed out but I remembered I told a coworker that everything happens for a reason and then I just broke down crying at work frustrated and then I came across this video.
