oh, I remember... 6/7 years ago, when I was a little boy, and I was waiting anxiously for my mother to come back from work so that I could play on her cellphone this new game I had just discovered through my older cousins, Minecraft. I remember searching for it on the playstore and watching this exact trailer, I was fascinated. I don't know if it's the music or what, but it was very memorable, and seeing it again now is very emotional.
pocket edition hold so many memories for me. my friends and I used to play it at each others houses and during birthday parties. We made hunger games worlds and kit PvP worlds. I will forever hold these memories close to me. most of the friends moved away and we don't talk anymore but these moments will forever be some of my favorites...
Pe was my entire childhood I just remember creating worlds with my sister on my dad's tablet and now they are all gone and will never be seen again 😭😭😭

Memorable things from PE: -Hunger being added -Frozen oceans (without icebergs, just huge stretches of flat ice) -The excitement when worlds were made infinite -The excitement when the nether and end were added -Beetroot rarity for some reason -Blue roses instead of poppies (I'm still mad about this one, they slapped) -Hoeing grass to get seeds (I still don't know why this was removed, it makes sense) -Nether reactor core, and trying to remember/figure out how to build it -Trying to mine the gold blocks you placed to make the nether reactor core before they turned into glowing obsidian -The old Minecraft hurt sound -Weather being added -Redstone being added -Not being able to dye dogs' collars -PE Lite -Savannas, mesas, mega taigas, and dark oak forests being added -Wolves being added -Ocelots being added (basically every passive mob other than sheep, cows, pigs, and chickens being added, and every hostile mob except creepers, skeletons, spiders, and zombies) -Sheep only dropping wool, and zombies dropping feathers -Sprinting being added -Enchantments being added -Making fire arrow launchers (before enchantments were added) by shooting arrows through lava -Chests not being able to be placed next to one another, and alternating locked chests with regular chests to get around this (I actually forget when this was removed, it probably wasn't that long ago but it was annoying) -How often paintings/other now uncommon blocks were used (carpet, flower pots, etc.) -Seeing videos of things on Java and being disappointed that those things weren't on PE -Boats, enough said -Surface spawners in deserts, usually with a layer of sand over everything -Making roller coasters
don't forget about you who will crash because of the piston, when I had that bug in the old version, I had to delay my redstone build until the latest update was available, maybe I'm the only one experiencing it. What a beautiful time 👍

I remember trying to place buttons on the floor and remember building huge rollercoasters and building and hotels made of of diamond, gold and emerald. I remember trying to spawn a nether reactor in the ocean to easily kill the pigmen for the gold ingots and iron ingots I could not get in creative. I remember spawning so many endermen that my world crashed and I could not get in so I had to delete it along with the rollercoaster and buildings and hotels
@@cyrillic_ You can't find saddles in the nether but there's another way:You have to beat a ravager in minecraft and it will drop a saddle when it dies [if you don't know what ravager means it's a new mob in the village and pillage update it has 100 health points and 50 hearts in normal mode it damages 3.5 hearts in hard mode it damages 5 hearts in easy mode it damages 2 hearts

In 2016 I was 5 and I started playing Minecraft PS4 edition and i was playing it everyday and I kept watching these trailers several times and made a world that was never complete because my dad died before me and him were able to finish it and now to this day it’s not completed and I always go back to the legacy version because it was super fun

Watching the mobile version of this game was such a miraculous thing back then. There were so many features it lacked from it’s PC and Xbox 360 counterparts that made this one feel authentic in its own unique way.
2 years later... 90% of all minecraft platforms are now called "Minecraft" or "Minecraft: Bedrock Edition" (Edit: 11/18/22 at 11:20 PM) I just stumbled on this video again, and wow. I still miss the old pocket edition before it became bedrock as we know it today, it was objectively limited but I felt like the community made it the best it could have possibly been, all of the multiplayer apps that let you VOICE CHAT on the same server and install plugins for a one time pay, lifeboat had an infinity server before infinite worlds were even a thing, etc The mcpe community was just so ahead of its time
I made one of my first core memories while playing this game in the late 2015 with my older brother.I didn't really care about anything at that age but this has made me realise that time always go on and I wish I could go back in time and LIVE life before I get older

I made a lime wool house on a savanna hill and stayed there for a year, one day I decided to go adventuring for the first time, I said goodbye to my dogs and goodbye to the villagers in my glow stone hallways which were inside the hill, I went down my quartz stairs and went out, then I became lost, in 2015 I lost phone, I started getting bored of Minecraft due to me having barely anything to play it on, 2016 started and a bunch of people including myself started saying it was just a baby game, it 2021 now, found my phone, remembered the password, finally used a compass that I didn’t know existed back then and came home, I saw that I didn’t take down my Christmas decoration and saw my horrid Christmas tree, it just looked like a tall spruce tree, I went in my nether reactor pool, said hello to my pets, and went to sleep in my tree house, I am turning 13 soon and I don’t know why, but I decided to delete the world with no save or anything, maybe I wanted to let go of my childhood or something, I pressed the button, put my phone in a box for a garage sale, and went to sleep in real life
Minecraft might have been the most influential game in my life and if it wasn’t for a rainy day where I got board and wanted something to play, I would have never had Minecraft to entertain me when when I was bored

I like these simple trailers more than the current ones.
Watching the mobile version of this game was such a miraculous thing back then. There were so many features it lacked from it’s PC and Xbox 360 counterparts that made this one feel authentic in its own unique way.

I just stumbled on this video again, and wow.
I still miss the old pocket edition before it became bedrock as we know it today, it was objectively limited but I felt like the community made it the best it could have possibly been, all of the multiplayer apps that let you VOICE CHAT on the same server and install plugins for a one time pay, lifeboat had an infinity server before infinite worlds were even a thing, etc
The mcpe community was just so ahead of its time

I made a lime wool house on a savanna hill and stayed there for a year, one day I decided to go adventuring for the first time, I said goodbye to my dogs and goodbye to the villagers in my glow stone hallways which were inside the hill, I went down my quartz stairs and went out, then I became lost, in 2015 I lost phone, I started getting bored of Minecraft due to me having barely anything to play it on, 2016 started and a bunch of people including myself started saying it was just a baby game, it 2021 now, found my phone, remembered the password, finally used a compass that I didn’t know existed back then and came home, I saw that I didn’t take down my Christmas decoration and saw my horrid Christmas tree, it just looked like a tall spruce tree, I went in my nether reactor pool, said hello to my pets, and went to sleep in my tree house, I am turning 13 soon and I don’t know why, but I decided to delete the world with no save or anything, maybe I wanted to let go of my childhood or something, I pressed the button, put my phone in a box for a garage sale, and went to sleep in real life
Minecraft might have been the most influential game in my life and if it wasn’t for a rainy day where I got board and wanted something to play, I would have never had Minecraft to entertain me when when I was bored
