Amen. Oil is a lot cheaper than engines! It's crazy how long they say to leave the break in oil in.
Thanks for the info! Tips and tricks save so much time. Doin first ryker oil change soon!

Great video! It's also good to make sure your dipstick is removed so air can go in to help it drain from the engine. Also, I've had a lot of new motorcycles and they always have the oil changed at 600 miles for break in. And then every 3000 miles after break in, so that's what I'm doing with mine. Like you said in the video, it's a small amount of money to protect a large investment!

Great video! First time I helped my wife change her oil, we refilled it, turned it on, and heard that weird loud banging noise…I almost died. It went away in about 10 seconds, but I wish I would have seen this video first to know it’s normal. Btw, the cam am shop here charges $225 for an oil change (labor is about $150 of that cost).

Excellent video! You touched on every point with great detail. Would love it if you would mention the conversion specs when you say newton meters for torque and kilometers for mileage. Of course us Americans can look up the conversion on google but mentioning the Euro and US specs would make your videos even better! I also appreciate that you don't spend a lot of time talking about nonsensical things and get right to the point of your video. A lot of these videos out there for some reason think it's interesting to talk about unrelated stuff the first few minutes of their video like where they went that day, their kids, their dog, their cup of coffee. Sorry I know that sounds cynical but let's get to the point of the video. You are right on target with getting to the point after a very brief intro. Anyway, I would highly recommend this video to anyone.

Hi Brian, thank you. In many videos i try to do EU and US values, but in this one I kind of forgot :((( and yes i know what you mean about nonsense talking. To be honest i will try to be even more on point in 2023. I takes a lot of practice not to go "the coffee" and other crap way... have an awesome day, martin

The manual says oil capacity with filter change is 2.5 liter for the 600 and 2.8 liter for the 900. No idea why the 900 kit comes with extra oil.
