Just my opinion, but I do not think you will need the shorts, cutoffs, miniskirt or short sleeve shirts. I live in Florida which is much farther south, and it is already quite chilly here. 40 at night and 60 in the daytime. Tennessee may be a lot cooler than that. And you are coming for 5 weeks which will be right through December. Definitely pack another pair of jeans, and more warm clothing!
    Have a wonderful time!
    Shelly

Yes we’ve had cold days here but we’ve had lots of warm days too for me to wear my shorts. And I wear my skirt in nights out. :)

I’m so excited you’re coming to the US! I live in Wisconsin!! Love your channel - I am 34, I also have hair that doesn’t behave (that’s how I found your channel, lol) but then I realized you’re a fellow doll collector and was like omg!! I’m also going through braces as an adult - but I have Invisalign.. it sucks, but I’m a year into it now and I know the results will be amazing! I hope you have an amazing trip and I can’t wait to watch the upcoming vlogs!

I'm assuming you've watched a lot of videos on different things we do in America. I can't think of a lot of tips now but if anyone can think of traveling tips or other tips feel free to reply!
    1. Make sure to tip you're waiter/waitress 15-20% of your foods cost. That's because that's how they make a living. They don't get paid enough and live off tips.
    2. Remember that there is sales tax in most states so what the price tag is isn't the actually cost.
    3. Heads up public bathrooms have huge gabs between the stalls and people might look at your feet to see if there is someone in there. Idk if you use a bidet but we almost never have them here so you will have to use toilet paper.
I don't want to use my brain rn but I'm sure you've heard most of the things you need to know.
Edit: I will start writing down the helpful replies.
    4. Ice tea is just tea with ice in it. Idk what it is there but that's what someone said.

No one should have to tip anyone for doing a job they're paid to do. You can't assume someone's financial situation, especially 15-20% which is a substantial amount. Here in the UK we tip if we can afford to and whether they have made a true difference to our experience.

@@will2778 yeah, but in the us servers aren't paid - almost all their wages go to tax so they're dependent on tips - it's different to UK which is why she mentioned it in the comment

@@will2778 In the US if you can't afford to tip 15-20% you can't afford to eat at a sit-down restaurant. There's no excuse for not tipping servers here. I don't like it, but it's the culture, and not tipping only hurts the servers.

@@will2778 it sounds like you just described the culture in the UK. The point of the original comment is that the culture is different in the USA. it’s seen as incredibly rude to not tip servers. Servers in the USA make about $2.25 per hour from their employer, the rest is from tips.

And I'm so glad it sounds like you'll be enjoying a lot of outdoor activities and seeing nature. Idk where in the states you're going, but every place has somewhere beautiful in it. I'm sure you'll love it.
A tip from my mom is to bring old, worn out clothes that are close to being thrown out anyway, You can wear them on days where you'll get extra grimy and then throw them away, so you'll have more room in your suitcase.

Was curious, as I first saw your channel while searching on people with adult braces (I'm now one of that elite crew myself!). As odd as this may seem, I'm going to be going to the UK for several months this spring. I'm curious about how you are handling routine braces stuff while you are away, as it occurred to me that I'm going to have the same issue over there? Too bad you we can't just go to the others ortho for a few months and then switch back, lol! And where you are in the US is great, but just know that where I am, Massachusetts, is in many ways as different from the area you're in as France is with Serbia. That's not a commentary on good or bad, just different, as I've spent time in several spots in the US. Hope you're enjoying it!

I have been with you since you made your hair journey videos because I have very similar issues. Knowing now that you have been on birth control this entire time, it makes me seriously wonder if that's been affecting your hair. My hair has been a pain these past few years, especially when I got my diagnosis of PCOS (which deals a lot with hormones). My hair has only gotten worse over the years and now I don't even have a period so I wonder if there's a connection. It could be the same for you too but the only difference is that you are on birth control instead of having PCOS. If you do notice any significant changes to hair after going off of it, I'd love to know! Wish you all the best Isabella and I'm really excited for you and your new experiences! 💖

I have the same problem when I'm going somewhere - hair products EVERYWHERE. My hair are problematic and they have a lot of needs. They are curly but they don't want to curl. So I'm basically on CG method but I don't care about the twist and I don't use stylers (without activator, gel). And in my whole life's hair journey it works for me the best since they stopped to be soo puffy and that was my main goal. So because of all that I have many hair products everywhere I go: there is always a gentle towel, washing conditioner, protein conditioner, emollient conditioner, small bottle of shampoo (only if I'm going somewhere for longer than two weeks, hair oil - and all of this is my hair minimum. Add to this some cosmetics for my body and something to clean up my face. The only good thing is that I'm not using makeup so I don't have to carry makeup cosmetics.
