Garland Carries and travels but.. But he’s just so quick and can dribble so good that it’s hard to catch him sometikes I’d imagine… and or they just let it slide because they realize that’s just his playing style…
But the move he did it’s hard to tell if it’s a travel or not because the quality of the video…
But in theory his still has a live dribble… don’t matter how many times he steps back and moves his feet, as long as his hand is not under the ball or the ball is not tucked and cuffed against his body or wrist or something then he still has a live dribble…
And technically he can start dribbling again after taking a few steps back…
That’s why it’s still considered a live dribble… once the dribble isn’t live anymore ( it gets tucked up against his wrist, his body, his hand goes under the ball, or his other hand comes into contact with the ball) then u start counting his 2 steps.. and if those thing happens simultaneously with his foot hitting the floor then u start you count after that simultaneous foot hits.
That first foot that hits the ground and the dribble is considered dead is the foot that counts…
So if your good at handing the ball and using your ability and your right to put your hand on the side and behind the ball to stall your dribble/hang it but while still moving your feet then u can do these type of moves that people think is traveling…
Remember you can’t have your hand under the ball doing all of this extra stepping because and under equals your dribble us dead, but if it’s on top or the side then your dribble is still live…
His rhythm of dribbling is what basketball supposed to be. NBA is plagued with slowpokes right now
Everybody got they own rhythm bro… DG rhythm is so smoove and pretty… but think about it… Kyries got them pats and his nothin like DG’s … Jamal Crawford had a bounce to his dribble but his nothin like DG and Kyrie… these guys have a unique cadence and it looks so good… but think about it not a lot of people have rhythms like these guys… look at Steph’s rhythm… Steph got handles but his rhythm is kinda like that of a little kids… it’s not really groovy… curry dribbles like Helter skelter and just has a crazy handle whereas these guys are more like dancing
I wont say he has a deep bag. Although he has quite a bag. The thing is deeps bag are acquired by certain players like Kyrie, Manu Ginobli, Micheal Jordan, Kobe, Allen Iverson, Julius,ect.
