The scrap weapons mod adds a lot of TLOU melee weapons. I remember one being a bunch of scissor blades added to a metal pipe.
Vanilla firearms expansion also makes the guns look a lot better but also suit the art style that project zomboid has.
I’d also recommend (B41) firearms or something like that because it also adds in suppressors and a few more guns
Get the VFE Stalker pack as well and another mod that adds it to the loot table.
@@falloutfart9917 I like B41F guns and its attachments, but like Britas the art style of the gun models looks out of place with project zomboid’s.
@@rioyr6210 I'd say that B41F actually fits in way better than Brita's. Maybe that's just because I've been playing with B41F for so long.

The flashbacks and the narrative story telling is just *chef kiss* perfection. Feels like watching a movie
When I clicked on this I thought it was just going to be regular gameplay, but this has to be the best storytelling, editing, the way the story is told makes you feel the emotions that the survivor is feeling and how great the audio and editing is, this truly is a hidden gem of a channel

A shame bloaters can't be modded into project zomboid, nonetheless this was amazingly written and one of my personal favorite stories you've come up with so far, can't wait to see what you can come up with next
they absolutely can be modded in, there is a mod that implements the special-ability zombies from Cataclysm, which proves you can make special zombies, and for the appearance, you can simply spawn these special-ability zombies with an outfit that looks like the bloater (like the Dimitrescu dress, the spikes dress or the fat lady dress in Authentic Z)
I'm sure they could be modded in, but it would be a bit of an undertaking.
I'm sure they can be modded into project zomboid, but it'd be very hard to find them anyways

You’re severely underestimating what the modding community can do. Every 2 weeks, there’s always like 3 or 4 great mods that got released out of the blue, sometime it’s not even from a popular author or someone. There’s probably like a couple thousands of programmers and coders laying around in Rosewood as I’m writing right now, playing the game, but didn’t want to make a great mod because they don’t want to, but they certainly could. Just like Brutal Handwork, I’ve been telling myself that it’s impossible to do a duel wield for like 2 or 3 years now, since all of the previous duel wield mods are dogpoo or just straight up doesn’t work, but here we are a legit working duel wielding mod and you can even shoot gun AND use melee weapon on both hand, it’s amazing. I also like how they did it first before the devs could, with the modding community already implemented what the devs wanted to implement for years now , like blacksmithing and *dogs* albeit the dog morphes into a human when vaulting fences 😂

how are your buttons mapped for your play?? I find the buttons really awkwardly placed and i have not found a combination that is comfortable for me.

Absolutely amazing storytelling. The little flashbacks added a nice bit of depth to the character. The ending was fantastic and a beautiful bit of justice on the (real?) enemy. I'd absolutely watch a longer full project video. After watching the "Finding a Cure" mini-series, you deserve a sub.
I don't usually leave comments, but this was so very well directed and thought-out, from the inner monologue of our survivor, to those moments of silence where actions speak way louder than words. I adored the saving of the couple, makes perfect sense with his character, and I am in love with the ending. Awesome job! Keep up, you rock.

Such an excellent homage to The Last Of Us, Naughty Dog would be proud!! If I may offer a slice of my opinion for a continuation of this series, (in-between your main one where we left off sailing to new lands) would you consider having the aftermath of the attack including Aiden being found by a foundation of survivors who take him in?
Dude, your editing just gets better and better! That triple edit; with you looting, taking cans and marking the map; that was something straight out of a high-budget video game trailer.
Loved this! A nice touch was showing that Aiden still had some shred of his humanity, in helping the old survivor lady get her stuff back. Sure, he was motivated by revenge, but he saved a life and even brought back her box of supplies.
And that revenge. Creative as hell with the alarm clocks, and satisfying that he got the last shot in. Now here's wondering if he made it off that rooftop with all those infected around. That gunshot was pretty loud.
Everything came full circle, and not a wasted second of narration, bravo sir! Honestly the title doesn’t do the video justice I thought this was just gonna be a regular play through just with the TLOU mod.

amazing story. In the beginning I thought the protagonist just lost his wife to the infected. Then revealing it to be bandits was a great twist with more to the story of why he needed to get to Riverside.

The storytelling combined with the video editing is simply beautiful. The story itself was interesting and easy to comprehend, not overwhelming but ambiguous enough to make you wanna keep watching in order to find out more about it. The video was well put together, too. Especially with the little glimpses of the past here and there. That one scene with the family was just wow, too. It wasn't spoken much with words, but which actions. And i find that beautiful. Especially the ending. It was very creative and clever.
